3 Pepper Burrito Co, wow nasty this time

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.   WOW this time around my pork burrito

was plain nasty. There was no flavor in the pork and the supposed habanero salsa just suck. I watched as they made my order.  Hmm the white rice looked a bit dry and for some reason the pork looked flavorless.  I was right on both count. I decided on spurn of the moment for the hot sauce. WHERE IS THE HEAT??? WHERE'S the Flavor ???. The only heat I tasted was from the pickled jalapeno peppers. And that was minimum. I also had sour cream and cheese. But that was bad. ( And still no refried beans offer.) I sat down and tried to finish this meal but ended up throwing it away.
The best burrito is still offered at__uper Taco in North fort Myers.

Chit Chat. The place is very clean & folks are real nice. All items looked fresh( taste :-( eh).
Oh and this burns my buns. I used my atm/credit card. Before finishing the transaction they are asking for me to add a tip. This is outrageous!!!!!  TIPS...I will give it to the employee or put inside a tip jar when outstanding service is done.
Beside NEVER in my half century of life have I ever needed to tip at a small very casual eatery.

Hey give GOOD food GOOD  flavor Good service and the money will flow to you.

House of Omelets, above usual breakfast joint

Here is my 2 cents on the food and a bit of chit chat. I order the CCC...Cape Coral Choice. choice of meats, toast, 2 eggs, taters etc. for your breakfast.
Plus coffee and the Belgian waffle. The coffee was ok. I made the mistake of telling them of surprising me on the toast. They gave me marble rye bread. I have never seen or heard anyone have rye bread as toast for breakfast. EVER. It was ok but I hated it. Rye toast must be a strange southern deal. Anyway eggs and stuff cooked to order...... BUT the waffle. I love waffles
. I hate  Belgian waffles. No choice given here. Why do I hate them. They are NEVER cooked properly as  in this case. They are always under cooked. NOT toasted properly. Plus I did specify I only wanted  butter & maple syrup (it was already on the table) . Mine was brought under cooked with a strawberry and powder sugar on it. I did not wish to wait 5-10 minutes for another one.So I kept my mouth shut and muddle through it.. In general it was a fairly good breakfast.

Some chit chat. I arrived at 1115 AM. It was crowded. This is the 2nd time since moving here to Florida I have had to wait at a eatery.. It took 15 minutes. I do not hold this against them. The staff was whirling around doing their jobs. It was filled with kids, old people and really fat people. So I guess that's a good sign of sorts. Once seated I was served quickly. Staff members were outstanding in being nice. A manager stopped by and said Hi. Plus on 4 occasions I was ask to have my coffee warmed up...I find this annoying. If you drink it just black ok ...BUT as a lot of folks now a days add sugar and cream ...Every time you dilute you must readjust the drink . I guess this my quirk.
Over all not too shabby I will return at some point to try the omelets.

Ruth's Chris Steak House, for special times

Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.  AHH a steak house. anything with steak in the name has to be good. In this case yes. I had a Appleton rum and coke,
fresh bread, creamed spinach and the Cowboy Ribeye. Rum and coke refreshing. The bread hot and tasty. Creamed spinach as good as I make it at home.
Ribeye, served on a sizzle to your touch hot plate. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare of course) sizzling on the plate as it was presented to me. I had to wait before cutting and tasting. But the minutes to biting into a carnivore dream, was worth the time.
This has to be one of the best steak ever.
As it is a prime steak it should be. No added salt or pepper was needed. I ate as much as I could and brought home the rest in a doggie bag for later.
Now some chit chat.
I was here on Xmas day. I guess the only day they open at noon time. Regular is 430 PM. I was not alone. After being seated, taking a few pics it filled up quickly. This is a pricey place. My rum and coke alone cost 12.50, ouch. My steak fifty-four bucks by itself. Cream spinach eight dollars fifty cents. ooooooh.
The staff was friendly and outstanding. BUT there was a hiccup. I had done my research and knew I wanted the Cowboy Ribeye. No Mistake on my part.  Ah when I thought my meal was coming what did they present, ta da, a Porterhouse. EHH WRONG. I sent it back. The server looked at me funny but left without question. A few minutes later my Cowboy arrived as outlined above. So no foul all is well.

Over all a good but expensive time.

Time to Eat is a new mediterranean restaurant in Cape Coral....

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.Time to Eat , is a new mediterranean restaurant in Cape Coral.... I had beef and risotto with mushrooms. I have never had this before. Kathryn read off the specials and I just jumped to it. First the bread.
They make their own bread. It was light and so flaky and a hint of garlic. I could have just eaten this. Ah the risotto was flavored with mushrooms and I believed wine and beef.
I just loved it. The beef was cooked to perfection of medium rare. Tender and so tasty.

Some chit chat. I had reservations going here. Too many 5 stars reviews. WOW they are correct. The food is fabulous. I must say this is a great addition for the food scene in The Coma (aka Cape Coral).
My server Kathryn did an outstanding job. But there is a few bumps in the road. They are located in a strip mall . It is hard to understand parking( as of this writing) The lines and design of the parking lot can be confusing. There is no Disable park space. You can miss the eatery sign. Plus they need to advertise a bit more. More folks need to be patrons. It is a diamond  that should be shined.
AHHH one more thing. It can be a bit pricy. My entree was 28 bucks or so. And if you read my reviews before you know I am a cheapskate.... Then you must splurge once in a while. I gambled and won in this case.
So come on down and get a dining experience. Not just feed your face.   ;-)

Bangkok Thai Restaurant, excellent food

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.. WOW, I just loved my entree of Drunken Noodles and the Thai Ice tea..
First the tea was served in a tall glass. It was delish. I could have drank 3-4 of these. The Drunk noodle was heated to my tolerance.
They use a scale of 1-5 for heat. I got the 4. It made me sweat yet still taste all the items. Beef, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, basil, eggplant and noodles. It has to be one of the best Thai places in the area. There are many good choices. I will definitely be back to try other items.

Service was outstanding. Top notched. Answer all my questions along with a bit of chit chat. It is located in a stripmall on the right side. It may be hard to find but so worth it. So if you are in search for tasty food come on down. I know I will be back.

El Taqueria Azteca,, Outstanding food, IF found open

Here Is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat. WOW this is some of the best chili rellenos and home made hot sauce I have ever had. (I have had my share of this entree in Mexico & California),But this dish and the sides of refried beans and rice really impress me .

It was beautiful to the eyes and a delight for the pallette. They make and only offer their own hot sauce. It is complex and spicy. You taste all of the ingredients and then you get that slow burn that tears up your eyes. The way hot sauce is suppose to do. For the local yodel I warn you to be careful and use it sparing . The quality and quantity plus prices are great.
I will definitely be back for more.
Now that being said some chit chat.

Over the pass few months whenever I stopped in they were closed. NO sign nothing. I did this about 4-5 times. I showed up on  December 18,2015 a Friday at 1115 AM, there was a hand written sign on the door stating not open til 12PM. The business hours stated 1030 AM for opening. I suggest you call before coming on down. I came back  on Saturday at 1215 PM..
Note.. Use the door on the right side...
Now the service and server was nice enough. The food coming out seemed a bit slow but good things come to those who wait.
So those who need good mexican food come on down.

NOTE: It is stated on the menu with a minimum order they do delivery.

Twisted Lobster, not for the frugal or big appetite

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. I had the lunch special( $8.50 as of this writing) of a lobster roll.
I have never had a lobster roll. It was offered in mayo or hot butter. I got the butter. Plus I chose the house made tater salad as my side.
First I must warn you, if you have a BIG appetite this is not for you.  I was given a hotdog style roll sliced in half with a couple of pieces of lobster on each( see pic). OK. I dipped my roll in the hot butter. HHmmm all I really tasted was the roll.. Also unfortunately the roll was a bit burnt. I separated the lobster from the roll and just dunk it in the butter with a bit of squeezed lemon. Now the lobster was outstanding fresh and tasty. BUT, the roll just defeated tasting the lobster and the portion barely filled my tummy.
I had what I was told  house made potato salad. It was fine BUT again for me it had WAY to much mustard for my taste buds.
The staff, Kristin, my server ( how politically correct not waitress as it should be) did an outstanding job answering my questions and what not.
Over all my experience was good except for the above mention issues.

Uncle Jays, hidden gem, Hayward ,Ca.

Uncle Jays is a gem of a treasure to hold in Hayward,Ca.. If you are searching for that fried fish come on down.. It is cooked to order and to perfection. If you wish to turn it upside down try the the Korean BBQ. The sides are many and reasonable. A little hint ,if you become a regular it would not be a surprise, if they surprise You with a little extra in your order. The people are great and service is good.

First Watch, 3 one same story

Here is a bit of chit chat and my 2 cents on the food.. This is the 3 rd,  First Watch I have been to. I must say they were all very consistent with service, cleanliness and quality of food. I must say it is very good.
I just do not like the idea of having to pay more for what is suppose to be "organic" or "healthy" for you.  I have been doing just fine with regular food stuff. Plus I am afraid without all the added preservatives I may not last as long. LOL.   Soooooo.
I had coffee and the Works omelet.

Bacon, ham, sausage onions, eggs ,sour cream etc. I had home fries on the side, with a muffin. It was all very good and very filling. About nine bucks.  I am just a cheap skate. I know I can find the same entree at other places for less.
BUT if you are into the real healthy stuff YOU must go here. It is a outstanding place no matter which location you choose.
Would I go again,YES, as long as a buddy will foot my bill. :-)....!
