Two Sisters Vietnamese Cuisine

Two Sisters Vietnamese Cuisine, Del Prado Blvd. S, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
Chit chat...Unless you are adventurous, healthy incline, enjoy FRESH made in house food do not read further.
This is as close as Vietnamese food as you will get unless you travel to Vietnam.
I had a tradition ice coffee, strong sweet and cream. So tasty.
My meal. For starter I had a appetizer of spring egg rolls. 4 large rolls (each 4.5 inches long) wrap with fresh veggie, some shrimp/pork. Along with a delicate peanut dipping sauce. MMMMM good.
I went with tradition beef tenderloin Pho. (soup) It was in a beautiful broth with rice noodles.
On the side to add to the steaming hot soup, are bean sprouts, basil, lime and slices of jalapeno.
There are many choices of Pho , from veggie head to carnivore.
Great for breakfast, dinner and for colds.
This is a family run eatery with over 10 years experience.
Service was stellar. They feed you like family. Reasonable prices, great quality and you will not leave hungry.

Speedy Two Sandwich Shop

Speedy Two Sandwich Shop, Dr. MLK Blvd., Ft. Myers, Fl. Here is some chatter and 2 cents on my meal.
Well folks this is a local dive place for the manual labor and such folks of our society. You come here for not bad tasting food to go. ( 1 picnic table outside )
I got a Pork Chop box. Fries , lemonade, 2 hush-puppies and pork chops on white bread, 9 bucks. The most expensive thing on the menu. Burgers $3 breakfast sandwich $5.
By no means gourmet.
Its cheap and fills the belly. The folks there were friendly and nice. But have a CWP , its in a sketchy part of town.

Po'Boys Sandwich Shop

Po'Boys Sandwich Shop, Work Dr., Ft. Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on my meals and chatter.
Well never had a real po boy before...so I thought I give them a try.
Well I thought this was a New Orleans thing. These folks are from Tennessee.
So I tried their cole slaw . This is not the common slaw. It was crunchy, spicy, had onions and bell paper. No mayo. Good in a different way.
I got a spicy po boy, shrimp. It was delish and worth the price 10 bucks or so.
Talking to the folks here they admitted they had to dumb it down( my words) It was waaayyy to spicy for the floridians. Yep the plain ole white bread folks. Nice as can be ,dumb as a post, without imagination or adventurous.
This is why so many restaurants fail in the area. Floridian are badly conservative.
They have no zest for new or different things.
Service was great give them a try.

Chuchis Restaurant

Chuchis Restaurant, Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on my meal and chit chat.
I had a Cuban espresso coffee, strong and tasty. My meal was Vizcaine cod filet. Perfectly cooked and favorable. Along with some plantains ,rice with a nice salsa .
A pleasant meal at about 12 bucks.
This is a very new eatery.
My server was a comely young wench named ,Adsana.
From Cuban she did a wonderful job.
So in search of new place give them a try.

Fins Seafood & Dive Bar

Fins Seafood & Dive Bar, Del Prado Ave., Cape Coral, FL. Here is a bit of chatter and my 2 cents on my meal.
I was en-route to a Cape restaurant  Institute  when Fin caught my eye. So lets see what the new kid on the block has to offer.
I was coming off at carnivore binge , so seafood had my eye.
My meal. A bowl of new England style soup & seafood enchiladas.
Well the soup was excellent. Hot creamy & lots of taters with clams. A sprinkle of green chives on top.
For my sides I got corn with roasted peppers. Pretty good. Then a Caribbean fab of black beans and rice. Add some hot sauce good to go.
Now for the Star of the show.
Seafood enchiladas. 3 warm tortillas filled to the brim with lobster, scallops and shrimp. Stuff with a wonderful cheese concoction.  I was in nirvana .
It was perfectly season for me as it was served. I did a big boo boo and added some hot sauce to a bite. I was so wrong.
So when I am in the mood for seafood enchilada this is where I will go.
My server was outstanding, Paula.

Che Tito Steakhouse

Che Tito Steakhouse, Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers, Fl. Here my 2 cents on my meal and chit chat.
Ahhh a carnivore delight. Good service cute waitress.
The meal. For me a medium rare rib eye.
First... hot flaky buttery herb rolls. Lip smacking good. Then not my favorite broccoli soup. House made ...add pepper I was good to go.
Oh yes ,the beef empanadas, ground beef, green olive and other goodies, hot and flaky.
Main course hot and crispy french fries with medium rare rib eye.
I do not know why...but... south americans know how to make the best french fries.
Now my well marbled medium rare heaven on earth rib eye steak.
It was served with a big knife on a sizzling plate. Cutting it was a charm and melted in my mouth.
Being a Argentina steakhouse they serve a chimiccuchi, olive oil garlic herbs etc sauce. . Good but not for me. And last a well made garden salad.
My server Danielle was easy on the eyes and good service.

Cactus

Cactus,Hancock Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on my meal and chit chat. I got the lunch special of 3 Sopes, 8.99.
Heard of these, never had them before.
But first you get hot chips with house made salsa. Unfortunately , they have dumbed it down for the wimpy taste buds here in Florida. Good flavor just not very mexican original spicy.
Sopes are similar to a tostada. Except this tortilla is about 1/4 inch thick. Then they add you meat and etc on top..
It tasted fine after I jazzed it up with hot sauce. I just did not like the soft texture of the base.
A great staff. Very accommodating .
I will be back for other things.

Reuben SmokeHouse

Reuben's Smokehouse, Cleveland Ave. Ft. Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on my meals and chatter.
I have been here before and liked it. This time around not so much.
My 1st meal. Chicken and dumplings, too wet no flavor with white meat very average, green beans passable, really good potatoe salad. Rolls fresh hot great strawberry jelly, just not enough.
My take home. Brisket. Too smokey with wrong wood. Needs more flavor and bigger portion.
Mac cheese was just a step up from a box, not much flavor. No onion, ham ,or a tad of cayenne pepper for extra bounce. Molasses beans, no bacon ,no onions, small portions. Needs to be sweeter.
Service was outstanding.

Blu Pointe Oyster Bar

Blu Pointe Oyster Bar, Bell Towers Mall, Ft. Myers,Fl., Here is my 2 cents on my meal and chatter
I was there on a Monday. They have a special for 15 bucks all you can eat mussels.
There are four different types of preparations. I loved the house brand and the curry milk. Delish.
Blue cheese eehhh very messy and bacon not so good, overwhelmed the mussels.
Plus you are given fresh hot bread. As much as you wish. So soak up the juices of mussels. A rarity today.
The sweet tea was great and unique. Due to Irma, they were short on regular sugar and improvised with brown sugar. Excellent.
Service was stellar staff. ....Thank you ,Winona.
Will be back.

Rib City

Rib City, Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers,Fl.. I am ashamed to admit that I went here being a foodie.
I had intended to go to another eatery but it did not open for a hour. So I venture here.
The best part was my waitress did a very quick job. Kudos.
The garlic toast was good.
Now the food. I got a combo plate chicken/brisket 10 bucks or so. This is not bbq it is smoked in a oven. Besides that of not tasting very good, the portions were small. The so call 1/4 chix was smaller than my fist. The drumstick was smaller than my index finger. (See pics.)
The brisket had no flavor.
AND ..., they served OUT OF CANNED GREEN BEAN. Growing up in midwest I know canned foods.
But this place was crowded with bad taste buds floridians of course.
Of course ,Me , nevermore.

Brookes Restaurant

Brookes Restaurant & Lounge, Hancock Bridge, North Fort Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I went for the special , cajun fish and black beans & rice. The fish was perfectly cooked ,season with cajun spices, BUT dumbed down for the wimpy taste buds of floridians. Just not spicy as you would find in the bayou.
The black beans was flavorful with a touch of salsa. But again I needed to add hot sauce.
I like my food like I like my women, HOT & SPICY.
Service was excellent.

Bob Evans

Bob Evans, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. This time around I order on online. Pot roast and banana bread. My items were good and prompt.  They make it pretty easy to feed your face.
Enjoy!

Bubba Roadhouse and Saloon

Bubba Roadhouse & Saloon, SW Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL. Here is my 2 cents on the food and price.
I order via cashcab or known now as www.bitesquad.com.
I have ate here before food was great. This time terrible and ripoff.
I went with a so called popular dish, fried chicken and mash taters.
Horrible dry and NO FLAVOR. a ITSY BITSY CUP OF SOUP. THIS WAS OK
8 bucks for 4 no flavor ribs. No bigger than my wallet. see pic.
It was all delivered on time and still hot.

Kudos to bitesquad !!!!
Never take out or delivery again

Ichiyummy

Ichiyummy, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is some chatter and my 2 cents on the food.
I am a meat loving carnivore. Give me a rare steak anytime over a lobster. But once in awhile I like to eat raw fish bait and seaweed salad. That when I go to all you can eat Ichiyummy.
They give you small portions to cut down on waste, but encourage you to eat as much as you want.
Dishes are always beautiful, and tasty. No need to waste your gas and money going to Ft. Myers or overpriced snobby ,Naples.
They serve beef too. Along with fried stuff.
Staff is always excellent.
Note: Did you know the Japanese in San Francisco Golden Gate Park invented the so called fortune cookie!?  . Go to China the have never heard of this item. American soil made.

Las Brisas Mexican Restuarant

Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant, Pondella Rd. North Ft. Myers,Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. The food. A lunch special of beef enchilada, with rice and beans. Lets not forget house made salsa with hot corn chips.
This is one of 2 of the best mom & pop mexican eateries in the area. They are both in North Fort Myers.
The salsa is always spicy and fresh. Beans are perfect refried not too greasy as chains can be. Rice with flavor and fluffy. Oh yes the enchiladas are great tasting no matter what cheese or meat you desire.
AHHHH yes let's not forget the chili rellenos. MMMMMM so good.
Place is super clean and service it excellent.
If you have never had real mexican cuisine you are missing a treat.
