The Golden Fork Cafe, Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food, chit chat and random thoughts. The food was fabulous. The reuben had the rye bread with the seeds as it should be. Meat flavorful with the right amount of marble. Good sauerkraut, well melted cheese. Fries golden brown. The cole slaw you want on a Sunday afternoon picnic.
Why 5 stars. The background music was soothing modern jazz good for the digestion. The tables were enough and arranged so it did not feel crowded. One of the owners/baker made it a point to visit all occupied tables. Service was great.
Here are a few tips. Sunday is the busy day.
Lots of parking in the rear.
They love the local clientele first and the snowbirds a close second.
One of the very few eateries that has 4 eggs omelets and Chicken and waffles. ;-)
Truly a delight.
So make it a point to visit and try the in house desserts.
