WOW... Great donuts....
After the maddening loco folks I got here.
You can watch how the donuts are made... Its cheaper to buy a dozen.
Service was outstanding ... there is a drive thru and drive around.

Plus look at the doors NO LOCKS ON THE DOOR!!!!

The Krab Hut

The Krab Hut, Cleveland Ave., Ft. Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
This is a new cajun southern seafood eatery.
Lots of different seafoods,
It advertise that you dig in and get messy eating the meals.

I preferred not to get messy. I went with a $8 fried cod. It was good. Fried crispy.
You get hushpuppies and fries. all good.
Service was fine.
The owner manager came by and chatted.
I like this place.

FYI:  Unmarked handicapped next to joint.

Victory Lane cafe

Victory Lane Cafe, Hancock Bridge Parkway,N. Ft. Myers, Here is my 2 cents on the food.
It was delivered by bitesquad.  Still hot and fresh.

WOW... I was so suprized on this meal...BBQ beef brisket, on texas toast, with waffle fries, baked beans and cole slaw....11 bucks
A nice toasted slice of bread. a creamy not overly sweet nor sour coleslaw, bake beans, ( I would like sweeter) waffle fries fried just right.
Now the real kicker... It had the perfect for floridian smoky slightly sweet bbq sauce. I like Texas style sweeter and hot spicy sauce.
Lo and behold the brisket was the best I have tasted since being here.
It melted in my mouth. I barely needed to use a knife. It was moist, tasty with a not overly smoked flavor.

I am not sure if it was in a smoker or oven it was dam* good.

Chens China Bistro

Chens China Bistro, Pine Island rd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food.
It was delivered via bitesquad. The food was hot to the touch when handed to me.
I got the Singapore Mai Fun... Angel hair noodles with shrimp, beef, chicken, veggies and extra hot peppers as I ask.
The dish was much better than I thought. It was filling and very good.

My 2nd dish, beef chow fun. It arrived hot to the touch. BUT it was not as spicy as I needed..
It tasted fine. Here is the BUT... Too much filler....lots of chopped celery, carrots...Plenty of onions...Not much other veggies. Good for local folks...Not good for discriminating taste buds of global experience.

I would recommend it though.

Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I was hankering for red meat...I needed some beef..
I order a medium rare ribeye, mash taters and string beans.
I was given fresh hot bread. Note: only a few steak houses and Italian joints give free bread now a dayz.
My ribeye came perfectly cooked. Well marbled and tasty, The taters were good,plus green beans had a slight crunch...
My server Loretta did an outstanding job.

I will be back again.

Foster Grille

Foster Grille, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral., Fl. I just had a medical procedure so I used the Bite Squad for Foster's.
I got a 1/2 lb. burger , medium rare, with onion rings delivered
The food arrived still hot, onion rings crispy.
The burger was cooked medium rare with all my request...So it was sloppy to eat but good..
Onion rings crispy and hot so good.
Delivery folks were excellent

Popeyes

Popeyes, Hancock Bridge Parkway., I was feeling hungry & lazy. So I went thru the drive thru. I got the $5 shrimp tackle box special.
The order was still hot. It was good for 5 bucks. Plus apple pie.

Havana Cuban Restuarant

Havana Cuban Restaurant, Pondella Rd. N. Ft. Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.

My meal, 2 eggs, ham, cuban toast, french fries and coffee... $4   bucks

Mind you this is not gourmet food.  This is basic good tasting breakfast food. Service is fast
food is hot and good.
If you are on a budget you need to come here

Hungarian Kitchen

Hungarian Kitchen, Bayshore Rd., N. Ft. Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.

Fresh in house made bread, Hungarian goulash, and Stuffed cabbage.
All the fixins for a comfort made meal.

When you come here do not expect this to be a like a regular restaurant.  This is more like going to grandmas or mom's house for a Sunday meal.
There will be hiccups and missteps.
But one thing you can be assured the meal will be wonderful.
The meals are great.
If you have never had Hungarian food please make it a point to try it.

Tip... On the side of the eatery is handicapped parking...Plenty of parking around the joint.

Danger Danger

Danger Danger, Cape Coral Pkwy, E., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
Lets start with chatter.
 The menu is too big. Too much stuff to read over.
There are NO servers. You must go to a cashier order and pay, then they bring it to you.
There are NO tables just bar stools and a bar to sit at.
This is NOT  handicapped friendly.
This is very pricey.

Now my food. I got their Saigon Tacos. 3 soft tacos, ( 3 inch sized tortillas) Filled with an maybe a 1 ounce of pulled pork, not flavored except with salt & pepper, then added 2 thin slice of jalapeno pepper and then what seemed to be be pre bought pickle slaw... I may be wrong!
I will say it was good. BUT at $3 each it was over priced & I did not get my money worth.

My other order Butter milk free range fried chicken 4 pieces with only an 1 oz. of a sauce. I ask for the hottest they had...It was good but NOT very hot at all.  This was $16.00
This chicken was very good compared to others around. Crunchy tasty and NOT salty.
This is the best bang for your bucks.

House of Omelets

House of Omelets, SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I was in the mood for a waffle.

So I got a crisp waffle, over easy 2 eggs and bacon( 4 slices) and coffee with tax under 12.98
In this day and age a pretty good deal.

Plus it arrived in less than 10 minutes. Service was great. 3 people came by to fill up my cup of joe.

It was a thursday at 1030AM...But really great food and service
