Rusty's Raw Bar & Grill

Rusty's Raw Bar Grill, SE 10th Pl., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
First impressions, this is very big. Pool, Dance, TV's.
My food. ...Fish and chips with a pasta salad. This is the only eatery or deli that offers a italian style pasta salad. I have NOT found pasta salad anywhere in this area.It was good....Plus the portion was a very good size. A excellent size fish portion at a reasonable price. Competitive with the local fish & chips restaurants.
Service was wonderful.

This is a must visit.

Mr Brew Taphouse

Mr Brew Taphouse, Surfside Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents and chit chat.
First chit chat. I have had this bookmarked for a while. The reason is they only cook the burgers medium well or well. I am a medium rare carnivore.
Anyway They have a 10-15 list of burgers.  Pricey 11-15 bucks. WOW.
I had my server pick my meal. A Kentucky burger. 12 BUCKS . It was cooked MW on a brioche bun.
with all stated trimming. I had the house made 2 ounces of cole slaw. I thought burger was SMALL in size.   BUT it tasted very good. Very moist. Lots of flavor.
The cook/owner explain the type of beef and that it is never frozen. Freshly made on premise. I must say , though expensive to me. Cole slaw was just mediocre at best.

BUT overall a very good and tasty burger

The Golden Fork Cafe

The Golden Fork Cafe, Cleveland Ave, Ft. Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents and chatter.
Well I heard it was busy thru the grape vine on Sunday...WOW it is. BUT the food is great.
I got a waffle,eggs & ham with coffee.

First a rant. Why do eateries give you all you can drink coffee? Then a small cup... see pic. !!!! Unfortunately .....
the coffee is really good.

Onward ...the eggs , (large) were cooked to a perfect over easy, waffle crisp and ham not too salty. My server, Nancy, did a excellent job.

It was packed and I actually waited for 15 minutes. So if in need of a outstanding breakfast...YOU must come here.

Molon Labe Souvlaki

This is a small eatery in a mall. Its been around for years. I am suprise it is not more well know.
Service is excellent.
This is perfect for all you wimpy folks who do not eat spicy food... Plus it's healthy.

Sabor A Mexico, N. Cleveland Ave, N. Fort Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.
I got a lunch special of a chili rellenois, fried beef taco, & and guacamole salad. 8 bucks.
But first a basket of warm chips and salsa. The salsa was cold and good. Not as spicy as I like it but passable.
For the price I was overwhelmed of the size of the portion. Plus very good in flavor. Now I have 3 mexican eatery to go to in N. FT. Myers for lunch. All 3 items were at proper temperature and had good flavor.

Service was wonderfull.

City Subs, Vincennes Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
This is a fancy sandwich shop. They have a claim to fame 41 item salad bar. Plus  a variety of sandwiches/ subs.Prices start at 5 bucks to 13 bucks.
I got the Big John. $13.00 , Pastrami on texas thick marble rye, russian dressing, swiss cheese.  That included 2 oz. of cole slaw, bag of chips and a free ice cream cone. It measured about 7-8 inches across. It was tasty gooey of the bread with butter toasted. The meat was pretty thick tasting fine.
Staff was excellent in service.
This is I believe 1 of maybe 5 places that have a salad bar in the area.

The Cafe

The Cafe, Coralwood Shopping Mall, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chatter. This has become one of my to go to eateries in the Cape. If you have a need for a good breakfast, a lunch , or Greek fare you go here.
This time a got a Greek style lasagna, about 9 bucks. House made from scratch. Delish and just made for all the wimpy taste buds of Floridians. So good. Plus the house made soup of clam chowder.
Most places of the mom & pop eatery's make their own soups & sweet tea. You may count on them being good.
Service is professional and courteous.
