Point 57
Point 57, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I went all out and got the filet mignon eggs Benedict. $22 bucks or so.
This is at Sunday brunch.
I must say the coffee was good.
My meal was cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was very tasty.
The biggest surprise was who made it... An unnamed aspiring female chef. That according to my sources just turned 18.
She had been a hostess but was bored. After turning legal they stuck her under a chef hat.
My meal was wonderful.
My brulee delish.
Service was professional and attentive.
This is a must try place
Bob Evans
Bob Evans, Pine Island rd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.
As far as chain restaurants go this is a good place.
I was here on coupons and anniversary day.
Free slice of pie and 20% off bill.
I order the lemon roasted chicken, mash potatoes & green beans.
It was simple and delicious.
Loved the sweet tea. Had coconut creme pie. MMMMMM
Though the server was being rushed around she did a good job.
I like this place.
Renzo's Peruvian Kitchen
Renzo's Peruvian Kitchen, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
First a name change. It is now called Renzo's. Well I have come to find I am not a peru type of guy. My sandwich is fine. Service and owners are outstanding. Still has good chocolate.
The one BIG surprise was the hot sauce. Just a dab put in my mouth it was on fire. I loved it.
Looking for something different this the place.

My Sweet Art
My Sweet Art, Nicolas Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.
Ahh this place is art. A wonderful french cuisine. I love the pastry and the quiche.
It is such a feast for the eyes, I started to devour the quiche before I took a photograph. ( see pic)
Oh yes lets not forget the french onion the soup. This is divine. But I have realize I do not like the cheese that is added. That is my little quirk. The soup broth is rich in flavor and caramelized onions.
Add nice eclair. Wonderful service.... a great lunch.

Blue Pointe Oyster Bar & Seafood
Blue Pointe Oyster Bar & Seafood, Ft. Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I am a meat carnivore. ... This is seafood...This has to be one of the best meal I have had in my recent history.
$21 bucks during Restaurant Week
Stuff salmon, lobster cake. and a water melon arugula salad...less not forget the rolls and butter with house made sweet tea.
The rolls were hot, fluffy and tasty. The tea perfectly balance not overly sweet.
The salmon were stuffed with delish magical things, along side a serving of garlic mash potato & french green beans with bacon.
The biggest suprise was the arugula salad. I HATE ARUGULA.....This was a melon salad with a wonderfully intertwine dressing that made it perfect for me. No pepper or salt needed. Slightly sweet slightly salted...a wonderful mating. I could have ate more.
More... Lobster cake....The only disappointment was the size ( 2 inch Lobster cake, See pic I measured it)
The cake it self was excellent scrumptious, just one bite though. :-(
The service and attention was beyond my expectations.

El Tropical
El Tropical Cuban Eatery, Hancock Bridge Pkwy, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
Well I was going some place else. I had to duck in here cause of the poring rain.
I went with the days special, beef stew. It tasted ok. But unusual to have rice and fries with it.
Service was spotty though not many folks.
I am not a cuban fan.
My bill 11 bucks or so. Will I be back? I do not see it in my future.

Taco Bell
Taco Bell, Handcock Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents and and chatter.
I wanted to try a local place but they were closed so I went here.
I order the special of the moment which was 5 bucks additionally 2 burrito supreme.
Hate the special. No flavor and small.
Speaking of small....the burrito supreme continue to get smaller. I used to use 2 hands for 1 burrito longer. They seem to taste the same.
I went thru the drive thru...pretty fast... of course they zip the money from your credit card.
A fine place if broke, drunk or have floridians taste buds.
