Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, Del Prado Ave, Cape Coral, FL., Growling of my tummy and some chatter. I was hungry ..I was cheap... I wanted near by.. This filled the bill.
I ordered the $7 fried fish combo and sweet tea..  The service was fast and food delish. 4 fried shrimp, 2 fried cod, and order of french fries. Cocktail  sauce plus tatar. As a bonus on Monday a free slice of pie. Mine coconut cream.. Looked too good just swallowed it whole with out a pic   :-(
Over all excellent meal.

Uk-Ok Fish and Chips, Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers, Fl, A growling of the tummy and chatter.
Fish and chips. Tasty,crunchy and fried. Theses are one of the best English style in the area. Large portions cooked correctly. The side of coleslaw is excellent. Plus a bonus of a roll with butter.
You must sit down and eat here...Because by the time you get home it will become soggy. Then defeating of the crunch is gone.
They have excellent tatar sauce, with Number one brand of Malt Vinegar. Which is wonderful on the chips also.
Personnel and service is outstanding.

Chicago Pizza

Chicago Pizza, SE 47 Ter, Cape Coral, FL. Here is growlings in my tummy and some chatter. First the food.The good. I order a large Chicago style pepperoni and mushroom. $20 BUCKS.
The sauce was good. Lots of mozzarella cheese. That's it.
$2 bucks for additional items. I did not get my worth of mushroom or pepperoni.
I expected my crust to be thick...BUT... hard as 3 day old italian bread NO!
PLUS I WAS BAM BOOZLE.
It was Tuesday. When I first enter I needed my eyes to get adjusted FROM THE SUNLIGHT. The first thing I saw was a FULL LIQUOR  BAR.   NOT a pizza joint.... the website and on the sign at the front door of the entrance blaze out    " Pizza" is 1/2 price.. Period. NO OTHER STIPULATION.   I was told you had to dine in to  get 1/2 off  plus buy drinks.
While I waited for my pizza a woman had ordered on the phone. While she came to pick it up ,she refuse the pie because it was not 1/2 off. I stop her and ask if she had seen any restrictions on the website .. She had not.
Additionally: They have a stromboli listed. IT IS WRONG... It is not made what so ever as a real Stromboli is designed ... it is just a calzone and cost more I believe.
Poorly made pie ....deceptive advertising....digging to far in my wallet ...NOT FOR ME....NEVER MORE!!!!

All about Bagel

All about Bagels,I have not had a bagel in 5 years. I was in the area for a hair cut and thought I get a garlic bagel. Beside that they had some New Jersey sandwich. Bagel, egg and a meat somewhere in between ham and spam. Well I was not impress. The garlic on the bagel was slightly burnt. The NJ sandwich was just bad. I guess I will wait til I am in San Francisco or NY again for a bagel

Las Brisas

Las Brisas, Pondella Rd., North Fort Myer, FL., A growling in the tummy and some chatter.
Chatter... This has to be the BEST authentic chili rellenos I have had since coming to Florida.
Food. My signature dish for mexican is chili rellenos. I ask for them to kick up the heat. They did. It was perfect. Beside pic perfect it was all good. The rice was fluffy, refried beans good texture. guacamole  delish.
Oh yes the fried chips with house made salsa. Mild at first then that spicy kick at the end. For you wimps the green stuff but a wonderful flavor.
So again North Fort Myers has a great eatery, excellent tasting food with reasonable prices.
A bit out of the way but if you love good food,You must try them.

The Waffle House

The Waffle House, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL., A growling in the tummy and chatter.
Chatter first. This place has only been open for less than a month as of this writing. I was impress.
It was a Sunday morn 1000AM a line out the door... A wait of 30 minutes for party of 4 or more. ME solo walked right on in... Order coffee... waffle special, ham, eggs over easy,toast, hashbrown. I got my waffle in 3 minutes....crisp and hot with syrup and wannabe butter. I was half way through it and got the rest of my order. All done to perfection and delish. My server checked up on me 3 times and refilled my coffee. Thanks Carey.
For a brand new place they did and outstanding job... I hope they can continue this high standard.
NOTE: good size parking lot 2 handicapped space near the door..1 that is not....

Papa Joe's

Papa's Joe's, Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral, FL Growling in my tummy and some chatter.
I heard good things about the pizza but needed something else. So I order a pasta dish, clam linguine entree..
But first tea... Yes they do make their in house sweet tea.Very good. Fresh hot bread with parmesan cheese, mmm  mmm good. Such a treat now a day. Now a  house made soup. Chicken broth with egg noodle, basil and some parmesan cheese. WOW so delish. I ask for linguine with clam a choice of mild or spicy. Spicy please BAM... this is where it went so wrong...aack mushy noodles , NOT........ al dente, bland not too much clams little garlic not spicy . I was so disappointed.
The service was quick and efficient .
I will come back for a pie. Dining available outside.
 NOTE: 4 hard to park spaces IFO. 4 compact size car spaces in a alley. 1 disable space in rear, with additional  4 squeezed in spaces in the rear near an alley.
