Perk and Brew, big meatball big flavor

Here is my 2 cents on the food. Well I stopped in on the whim and saw  the big meatball and some Spanakopita on the menu. I said why not gamble. I gambled and won big time.
The big meatball was slathered with red sauce... delish.
Along with a melted cheese. It was fork fall apart tender. Not too spicy not too much garlic just right. A mixture of the proper ground meats. Over all outstanding.
I had a little plate of spanakopita. They were so tasty with the phyllo dough.
A very labor intensive process. But so good. I wish a bigger serving.
There is a variety of italian soda and coffee for you drinking pleasure.
The staff was great.
I will definitely be back for more.

First Watch, only to watch your waist and watch good money down the hole

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. Over all the quality is good. The staff was excellent.....Value for your money just sucks. I see why it was full of knucklehead floridians.( no out state license plates) On whole they have no idea of good food or getting your value.
I was here at 1115 AM. I had to wait 5 minutes for a table. That's ok food must be great and value too...WRONG.....
I did not realize that this was a HEALTHY food eatery.. MY mistake..I was SO wrong.
I had to ask for plain white sugar for my coffee. It was given to me in a little side dish.  :-(
Only brown sugar on the table.
I got the beefeater sandwich
.  Where is the beef?????? it was very thinly slice med rare BUT hardly any food for a real man to eat. It was good quality. BUT for  9 Bucks give me some food.
The so called horseradish on side that SUCK. Creamy and  NO FLAVOR..... NONE.
There was a salad of sorts on my plate. Just some over price greens with a splash maybe balsamic dressing. I got more on request.

Over all one of the worse value meals ever.  I finished this in one swoop no take homes.
Let the money squanders and health nuts have this chain. Never more for me...

The Beef Guy, good food good value

Here is my 2 cents on the food. Good food good value. I got the pork tenderloin sandwich.
WOW it was cooked to perfection and was TWICE the size of the bun. Excellent for the wallet and tummy.
I also got a italian beef to go.  MMMMM meat was a plenty, it was moist and tender. Delish flavor..
French fries also good. Not plain a added flavor so it was  tasty.
So for easy on the wallet good for the tummy come on down.

Hurricane Grill & Wings, not so bad for food chain

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.  First some chit chat. Most of the reviews I saw were issues with the personnel. The time of day these other folks went is their fault.  If you go when you know it is going to be busy then, YOU , should expect maybe problems. I have worked in restaurants before so I know what the issues can be. I know the customers are wrong and will be A--holes.
Now the food. I was not aware you could ask for a caddy of all the types of sauces for the wings. You can  create your own. So have at it.
The sauces are hot if they say hot. The wings are larger than most places.
They come out hot and fresh. Delish. The chips are tasty as well.
I went for all you can eat deal. I was given all I could chow down. Staffer was excellent. Also note I went at 1130AM  so I got treated very well.
Over all I had a good experience...BUT I still prefer mom and pops places.

China King Buffet, one of the best buffet around

Here is my 2 cents and a bit of chit chat. Well if you are in the mood to pig out come on down.
I spent about 10 bucks for a soda and all you can eat. I liked the fried chicken and egg rolls. The best part is you can sample everything before digging in on what you like best.. They have a variety of it all. Including desserts, soups and sushi. I found a beef tip something that was excellent. I was able to feed the carnivore inside me.
I was there at opening. It was all clean fresh and hot. Very eye appealing. Service was excellent.
So stop on in and graze awhile..
Oh yes if there is a particular dish you like, for a separate fee they will indulge you.

Saigon Sandwiches, A new cultural delight

Here is my 2 cents on the food & some chit chat.. The sandwiches are fabulous. A new and wonderful addition to the otherwise dull food scene here in SW Florida. The sandwiches are just like I found in the Vietnamese area of Oakland ,CA..
They are healthy fresh and taste wonderful..
Each delight is made with a fresh baguette. Hard on outside soft on inside. They use quality ingredients.
I must warn all you stick in the mud floridians. Some of the sandwiches will surprise your taste buds because they are a bit spicy. Plus they are just different from european and american deli.
But those that are searching for healthy items you must venture here. ( Beside have you ever seen a fat Vietnamese person??)
The drinks are unique also. I recommend the coffee.
So try something worldly and tantalize those taste buds.
Oh yes its good on your budget.

Sandy Hooks and Rib House, old school bistro

Here is a bit of chit chat. My 2 cents on the food.
They are open from noon to 8PM on Sundays and 4-9 pm the rest of the time. Good views of the water lots of parking.
I found the food to be delish. They are an old school Florida place. Serving up fresh bread at the beginning with real butter.
They use their own bread to make the croutons. hmmm good
. I had the housemade cole slaw which was delightful. An appetizer of shrimp cocktail. The main entree rare prime rib.

At first it was a bit hard to slice the prime rib. They had put the au jus over it. I would recommend it to be on the side. There was a bit of fat.( FAT = flavor) As I worked around it, the piece was easy to cut with a minimum of effort. I loved every mouthful.

The staff did an excellent job. My order was presented quickly in a proper pace. Thumbs up.
So for those who like the old skool ways check this place out.
Ah be warned they do have early bird menu. For all you frugal minded....
