Starbucks

Starbucks, Santa Barbara Blvd., (Target), Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on my meal.

Its been 2 years since I have been here. I only came because I was given a 10 buck card.

WOW...the regular coffee still sucks and the made ahead sandwich is nasty.
It is a egg and ham sandwich. THEY DO NOT CARRY SALT OR PEPPER ...
The item was horrible . I would not even give it to a dog.

Ahhh customer service was very good.
I have said too much.

Moms Restaurant

Mom's Restaurant, Cape Coral Pkwy, E., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on my meal & chit chat.
This is a great place for outstanding food. My only rant is it is too small. 6 tables 3 inside 3 outside. My meal, coffee, biscuit with bacon, egg, tomatoe, & cinnamon bun...$12.00

My Raves. OMG biscuits the size of my hand, so fluffy and lite you need a fork to use. They melt on your tongue.
The cinnamon buns, such a sweet delight and sugar high.
The bacon is cut thick called danish style.
The coffee  is Bottomless...If you get what you need...you can come back later with the same cup or use your own cup in the beginning and refill more of this nectar. Plus its wonderful tasting.
Note: they have fresh squeeze OJ & grapefruit when available, market prices or runs outs.

Service is beyond excellent... You can customize your meal...BUT do not whine if you ask during a rush of orders...Then you will get it ...when you get it.
They serve breakfast & lunch until 2PM. They are in Big John Plaza so disable access can be tight.

This is a must bookmark joint and place to go. I am looking forward to the meatloaf for lunch.

Duke of Germany

Duke of Germany, Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on my food and chatter.
Well I have had this marked for a long time.
We had schnitzel and knockwurst. With spaetzle, sauerkraut & potatoes pancakes as sides.

Though is was filling it did NOT tantalize my taste buds. Being from a german background I have grown and appreciate other cuisine much more.
Over all it was fine. Service was good.
If you are a fan of german fare this is a good place to go. Very decent food.

One thing that baffles me. Is why would anyone go on a vacation to a foreign country and have food you get daily a home ? This is a hot spot for german vacationers.

Luciano's Pizza

Luciano's Pizza, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.

Well I discovered a carnivore delight. It is called a NY Stromboli...Pepperoni, capicola, salami, ham & mozzarella cheese. Baked in a flaky crust with a coating of either olive oil or butter infused with garlic.
Also an antipasto salad, with of course the entree that fills 2 belly's spaghetti and meatballs.
All are reasonable price that fill my belly to maximum.
These items were delivered before the allotted time was up.
See photographs of the wonderful dishes.

Annie's Restaurant

Annie's Restaurant, SE 47th St., Cape Coral, Fl.,Here is my 2 cents on my food and chatter.

Our food. a plate size pancake with pecan, hard scramble eggs , crispy sliced bacon. Me:hotdog with kruat on rye bread & mustard. Deli sh coffee and OJ.
The flapjack is always as big as a dinner plate cooked to perfection. My hotdog simple and correct. House made lentil soup flavorable and nice portion
Service outstanding and correct.
Word of mouth for advertising ...no commercials for this joint.
Best to come in off season...In season you be standing in line for a while.
Prices reasonable and food great.
Parking hard in front ...lots of room in the alley and back lot big.

Gather

Gather, Silver King Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on my food and chatter.
I tried what another yelper had.
Corn beef with taters & a fried egg on top with a gravy of sorts, 11 bucks. Served in a enamel cast iron skillet.

I was not impress. A small fried egg, small bits of corn beef and less then a medium size potatoe all together in my plate.  It tasted ok. BLAND...

Chatter... At 9 AM  on a Sunday ...only 1 table of a couple was here. They must be doing something right. They are still be open a year later.
Catering to rich snobbish folks, a limited menu.( they have octopus).

Coffee this time was more robust. For the price of OJ it should have been fresh squeeze. Not from a bottle.
Well if you got lots of cash, mediocre taste buds, with a limited menu of choice, and like looking at boats( not yachts )...this is for you.
ENJOY...

Yucatan Waterfront Bar & Grill

Yucatan Waterfront Bar & Grill, Pine Island Rd., Matlacha, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on my meal and chit chat.

I had the Bounty Combo, tilapia, shrimp with diced tomatoes and Parmesan  cheese.
Along with house made cole slaw and potato salad. 17 bucks
I must rave , these sides were the best I have tasted in SWFL. House made. Both were well balance. Very tasty.
Plus a very good large portions
The main  entree was also excellent. Fresh shrimp/fish and newly shredded cheese.

Also on the menu they offer fresh trout (this is popular & they were out) AND for those who are adventurous SNAIL...   :-(

Though they do in house sweet tea. It was not very sweet or very strong.( unlimited serving)
My rant is no pricing on the drinks on the menu. Another rant a gravel parking lot. No clear parking spaces.

A rave Beautiful water front view and outside dining.

The service was great.

Definitely a place to return.
