I have only had the ribs. Today chicken. $9 for a sandwich. Thats 6-7 pieces of chix and 2 slices of white bread.
MMMMM so good.
For you newbies this is the perfect hole in the wall. BBQ ribs & chicken. PERIOD. Florida mild. Florida hot. ( not really hot)

CASH ONLY. VERY FRIENDLY.  5 stars for the food.. Situated on the corner of Cranford Ave/Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd.

Chicago Pizza

Chicago Pizza, SE 47st, Cape Coral,Fl., Here is some chatter and my 2 cents on the food.
I was out of ideas of what to eat. So I decided to revisit a place I gave a bad review.
I was not happy with the price $27.00 delivered. A 14 inch deep dish, pepperoni/mushroom pie & a grilled polish sausage sandwich.
I still do not like deep dish. Alas, The ingredients were pretty good. The sauce was a bit sweet, nice 'room and fair amount pepperoni. Except for the crust issue and HAVING to use a fork, I liked it. It also tasted good next day cold.
The polish was a bit bland but the mustard kicked it up.
I was told delivery would be 1 hour 15 minutes. I got it in 55 minutes.

Over all a good experience thist ime.

Kwann's Express

Kwans Express, Cleveland Ave.,Ft. Myers. This place is not worth a review.
I am from the San Francisco Bay Area,California. I have had my share of bad chinese food.
This is beyond bad. The egg roll is from a frozen box. I saw it. It only had cabbage inside.I got sweet & sour pork ,with a kung pao beef, extra spicy, pork fried rice.
WOW talk about nasty, The pork was from a frozen bag, sauce from a jar. The veggies were frozen, mushrooms out of a can. NO hot peppers at all.

This is a pick up or delivery joint.STAY AWAY....

Smoke'n Pit BBQ

Smoke'n Pit BBQ, Tamiami Trl, N. Ft. Myer, Fl., Here is my 2 cents and chatter.
My order. Beef brisket, beans, tater salad, cole slaw.
The best part of the meal was the garlic toast & tater salad. Though the tater salad could have used some onions.
The brisket was  horrible. Tough and NO spices. Not even S & P.
They are known for their beans. They just suck. Beans just cooked in water. The bbq beans are made with left over brisket,  their nasty sauce and other.
This is a good example of the VERY bland taste buds of floridians.

The servers are wonderful. It not their fault the food is badly made.

La Trattoria Cafe Napoli

La Trattoria Napoli, Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers,Fl. Here is my 2 cents and chit chat.
This is such a gem.
I order a cup of wedding day soup, got free garlic bread and Espnol Taver-Galican Style. A sandwich of chorizo, pork, bolo ham, mozzrella cheese. With a chilled pasta salad.
I did not know what any of this was.
AAhhh but I do know it tantalize my taste buds. It made me such a happy trooper.
The crunchy toasted roll ,the aioli and combination the other ingredients.
The wedding soup was meatballs, beans  and pasta. Mildly salty but that was me. I should have gotten the bowl. So delish!
So good. The mix of italian and spanish cuisine  explains the crowd of folks as I left.
Service was outstanding. Though a bit pricey for lunch , well worth it.

Micelli's Restaurant

Micelli's Restaurant, Pine Island Rd., Matlacha, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chatter.
I have been here twice for turkey day. A big buffet AYCE. It was great.
This time I got the  french dip with cole slaw and the chili. The chile for 4 bucks a cup,WOW, it just suck. It was only a step,maybe,above eating out of the can. Just beans and ground beef. You could barely taste the cumin. Not spicy. Plus you got a whole lot less than a can.
The cole slaw was just ok.
My entree cost $11.00 . It was a small sandwich. The cheese seemed melted away. Not much meat and au jus was so salty. I left the au jus there.
Service was good.
The view of the water is wonderful. I wish my meal this time was too.

Lehne Burger

Lehne Burger, Cape Coral Pkwy, E., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.

First some chatter.. This is runned by folks from Germany. They have German soccer on tv.
They have an item called german meat loaf. I was allowed a sample. It is like a bologna. When grill it taste like a fried hotdog or bologna, but very salty.  It was good. I guess they add it to hamburger .
NOTE: There is NO wheelchair access AND there is a small step up to get to the eatery. So this
can be hard for folks,( like me), to enter. Plus only 1 handicapped parking.
In essence not very disable friendly

The food. It is hamburgers. I got their classic. Everything on it. Medium rare of course. I am not a big  burger person, but this was cooked to my request and tasty. Fries with it. I liked it. They have a chart showing what degree that you like your burger cooked. ( medium rare is for the true carnivore). They have a menu of standard burgers. Plus a separate form where you  can design your meal.( see pic).
On average with burger/fries it is12 bucks. Drink 2.39 or 2.69!!???
OH yes the have a stand where you take your bill to instead of paying the server.
Service was good.
