Outback Steakhouse, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
The food. I went with the now heavily ad of a 18 oz. Top Sirloin, med. rare of course. $23.00
It was cooked properly though the cook had a hard time getting there. You can tell by the marred seared lines. It was tender enough & big enough for a steak sandwich at home. Veggies were good.
Oh yes the tortilla soup was spicy due to the extra cumin.
Of course one of the few places that offer free hot bread still.Love this!!!!!
My server Anna was outstanding. Attentive helpful and professional.

Streetside Burgers and Fries

Streetside Burgers and Fries, Kismet Pkwy., Cape Coral,Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food & chatter.
My entree. Cali Burger. Burger with the house special seasoning, bacon, cheddar , avocado and such.
10 bucks see picture. I ask for it medium rare. I could not tell cause of the special stuff. Same with fries. It was ok overall BUT. for me way toooooo SALTY.
This is a good ideas. In a gas station with a drive thru window.
I think for his customer base,like me old fogeys, he will need to revamp the salt content.
Plus for the prices a bit high.

Thai Nawa

Thai Nawa, Pine Island Rd., The Cape, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
The food.I do not recall the name. ( see PIC) I cannot pronounce it. I do know it was OUTSTANDING.
Hot fresh ingredients just a wonderful meal. My appetizer of fried tofu is a great item for the veggie heads. Terrific sauce.
The service is stellar. Along with a better and cheaper coffee than St*r b*cks.
If you love Thais cuisine you must come here.

Athenian Restaurant

Athenian Restaurant, Tamiami Trl., North Fort Myers,Fl. Here is my 2 cents and chatter. This is an old skool proper eatery. They give you bread, soup or salad and a big filling entree at a reasonable price. I got a great split pea soup & a salad. My meal was medium cooked lamb chops. Great veggies and mashed taters with a good gravy.
Service was stellar. They do a outstanding breakfast.

Shoeless Joes Sports Cafe

Shoeless Joe's Sports Cafe, Bell Tower Mall, Ft. Myers,Fl. Here is some chatter and 2 cents on the food.
I came here for my advertise free birthday meal. A credit of 14 bucks. Well anyway which  way I tried to spin the offer, I would end up losing on the offer or spending more money. There is nothing on the menu for 14 bucks. It was either $10 or $16. So either way the Joes came out ahead. What a false leading scam of advertising.
The food. I settled on the fish and chips with cole slaw. Cole slaw was mediocre at best.
My first order of fish came out under done. No sushi for me at this time. Plus this the very first time I have sent back a meal in 5 years. When it arrived it was cooked properly. No big deal just average bar food.
Service was very good. But really no reason to come back here. Food not worth it.

La Corte Bistro

La Corte Bistro, Lafayette St., Cape Coral, FL, Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.
The food. Sea scallops and rice. I must say it was delish. The scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection. I did think the seasoning was a tad salty. But I do not use a lot of salt, so it may be my taste buds. The rice was of a saffron persuasion. I am not experience in this flavor. It was good .
Chit Chat.. Stone, was my server. He did an outstanding job. Actually one of the best waiters I have had since writing my reviews. Attentive, friendly and professional.
Though this is a pricey venue ,it was worth the experience.
Definitively  a place to take a business meeting to impress or romantic affair.
My experience this time was more positive..( they had a change of chef/staff)

Stuff A Bagel

Stuff A Bagel, Milton St., Cape Coral, FL., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. I was suprize as to how big and how tasty the bagels were. A buck a bagel. Big fresh very good. Worth seeking out.
So if you need a fix this is where you should go.
