Hana Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Lounge, Hancock Bridge Pkwy, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food, A rant and rave. A bit of chatter.
The food. A bento box...Teriyaki steak, miso soup, salad, and sushi. 10 bucks or so
This was a excellent meal. Miso soup was delish, salad cold and crunchy. Sushi very good.
The server ask me how I wanted the steak. ( medium rare of course )
Overall a great experience.
Rave... food is outstanding.
Rant... Not crazy about background music.
Server did outstanding job. Easy parking.

Chinese Express

Chinese Express, Hancock Bridge, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents of the food.
I will be short and sweet. I ordered the kung pao chicken. It had chunks of chicken, baby corn, and mushroom. Plus other stuff. (see pic).. It smelled good the consistory was good.
Being from the San Francisco-Bay area. I have had my share of kung pao.  BOTTOM LINE...
THIS WAS THE WORST EVER. iT TASTED HORRIBLE.
Never order this.

Slates

Slates, Candia Ave, Cape Coral,Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food, rant & rave plus chatter. The food.
Today brunch item. 8 oz. ribeye, with 2 eggs, a salsa on top and house potatoe. Cooked medium rare of course. A carnivore delight prepared to specifications. To be honest I prefer the traditional way. of just the steak alone. But this was very good. I had a cocktail called a Pimm, delightful.
And of course the very unique  New Orleans beignet . Served hot and so sweet. It came with some type of I believe raspberry sauce . I hated this too sour.
Rave... Always wonderful and exquisite  food.
Rant...Not able to afford to eat here more often.
Service was outstanding. Plus a New Orlean band playing in the background.

Jamaican Sunrise

Jamaica Sunrise  / WC Grocery Store, Pondella Rd., North Fort Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food, a rant and a rave plus chatter.

The Food. OBA OBA...The oxtails were melt in the mouth and so tasty, peas and rice delish. Just like in Montego Bay. The jerk chicken to die for with a oh so spicy hot sauce with such robust flavor on the side.

Curry goat and ribs to name a few more. Buy the pound or in a small/large meals.  For dessert sweet potato pudding pie. Lip smacking good.

Chatter...Service was fine. A hole in wall place situated in a tiny grocery store. Lots of parking.

Rave...A stomach too small, unable to eat more !!!

Rant... I had to find this in a advertisement.

First Round Draft

First Round Draft, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food, chatter and rant & rave.
Chatter... I came here to try a burger... This is a typical sports bar so what he.ll I was suprize at the daily menu. Lobster ravioli and shrimp. I got shrimp.
The food.  Torpedo shrimp. Coated in panko crust and fried shrimp. Fries and coleslaw. Wow I was taken aback. The shrimp was delish, Coleslaw not too sweet not too sour. Fries just right. Plus clam chowder for 4 bucks. Tasted right and a good deal.
Service was outstanding.
Rave... a sports bar with excellent food. Parking for your boat.
Rant... I did not know of this sooner.

3 Fisherman

3 Fisherman, N. Cleveland Ave., North Fort Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food, rant and rave and chatter.
The food. 15 bucks AYCE fish. A good deal. A variety of fish and a variety of how you wish to have it cooked. I sampled the fried catfish, blackened cod and a surprise for me.. Plus a side of coleslaw . That was just okay. I tried the rice pilaf.  Ehh very plain no flavor per se.
Rave... All you want of fish and different ways to prepare.
Rant... The sides have much to be desire...not so good.
Easy parking, this  summer special is good only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Service was fine.

Izzy's Fish & Oyster

Izzy's Fish & Oyster, First Street, Ft. Myers, Fl.  Here is my 2 cents on the food, rant & rave and chatter.
The Food. I got a cup of clam chowder...5 bucks..They do a twist on clam chowder. Which is a good thing! I like new stuff.  BUT this suck...Too watery, uses onion, little if any potato or clams. and they add oyster crackers before you can taste the item...THIS IS WRONG.
Entree... linguini and clams...18 dollars ( see photographs before and after ) First I felt robbed at the small portion. The freshness of clams is nice...but for me to individually take out the meat from the shell is way too much work. They added a twist of HOT chili flakes at the bottom of the ( small portion) entree. I love my food ,Like I love my women Hot & Spicy. Here it does not work. They also gave me a small piece of some bread or muffin. Terrible. No Flavor. No buttery taste. Bad texture.
Rave....Wonderful staff did a outstanding....(Jeniffer)
Rant.... Over price entree and twist that do not work yet.
Chatter. Be advise as of this writing they have just NOW open. So expect issues with  staff but never food.
