Thai Nawa, Pine Island Rd.,Cape Coral, FL., Growling in the tummy and chatter. If you need the  real deal of Thai food this is where you go to. First the cool thai coffee. Rich and refreshing  Then the exquisite spring egg rolls. Fried to a golden hue & so tasty with the sauce. I had the Seven Sein Noodle. It is beautiful and delish. So flavorful and well texture.. Plus with the Thai Hot level such a rush of a experience.
At any level of spiciness you have a wonderment of Thai cuisine.
WARNING: They have 5 different levels of hot spicy.. 1 being nothing and 5 Thai hot. Thai hot will make your  eye balls sweat. For all you wimpy floridians I strongly suggest only level 1 or 2. You are not strong enough for anything else.
The place has outstanding servers and American contemporary feel. So if searching for an adventure in food this is a great choice. Plus does not break your piggy bank.

Scooters

Scooters, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL., Growling of the tummy and chatter. The food.. The good the bad and ugly.
The good is the coffee and smoothies. Good selection good tastes. The bad is the breakfast burritos. It is NOT FRESH. It comes from a vendor and microwave. Plus the quantity and price is abysmal. No flavor at all. You would do better for a frozen burrito at *almart.

This is a chain from the midwest...( yeah we need another chain here in the Coma). The coffee is not too bad. Plus its a drive thru on a main through fare. For those in a hurry a good thing.
The bottom line if you need your caffeine fix and in a rush this is good. The food ...wait and get it out of your vending machine at work. You are better off.

Biggy's Place

Biggy's Place, Fowler St., Fort Myers, Fl., Growling of the tummy and chatter. Here is another downhome local joint. I was divided over a waffle or meatloaf...I went carnivore and got the meat.
I decided on some sweet tea. This is usually a in house made deal. But always ask. Instead of salad I went for the lentil soup.... A great choice. Very thick w/lentils, carrots and meat. Loved the flavor. Now smash potatoes w/brown gravy and meat loaf. .The potatoes were smash not whipped. I found small chucks or taters in side. So you know it was hand done very good. .....OBSERVATION: I have noticed the last 3 times I have had meat loaf ( 3 different restaurant) it was presented  with a steak knife??? WHY??? It is hand shaped ground beef....I think it is going to be tough. It never is tough,So whats up with the extra sharp blade?

Back to this meat loaf. I was not too impress. Not much flavor. A brown gravy but lacking some garlic or onions. Or just maybe what the locals prefer mediocre plain food.   BUT all in all reasonable prices, good quantity & quality food. I do recommend this eatery

Thirsty

Thirsty, Vincennes St., Cape Coral, FL., Growling of the timmy and chatter. The food. A french dip sandwich with side of inhouse macaroni salad. Plus in house sweet tea. Tea just sweet enough, all U can drink.
Now the macaroni salad. Not too much of robust of flavor BUT they add a bit of shrimp. Creamy and good.
Ahh a carnivore delight. French dip... enough beef, robust flavor and au jus, not too salty just right as the little bear would say.
This is an old skool eatery. Prices are reasonable, quantity good and quality excellent.
Service is outstanding. Looking for a low key great local hang out, this is it. One of the best.
Come on down.

Five Guys Burgers

Five Guys Burgers, Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, FL., Growling of the tummy and chatter.
The food. 10 bucks for a small burger, small fries( enough for 2 ) and a drink.
This includes about free extras,10, or so condiments.  Plus they offer up malt vinegar. I guess for the fries. They do not serve fish.
Plus they do not give it your way. It is all over done. WELL DONE. In this case it is juicy. Juicy with greasy fat. That is why it taste pretty good. Fat.
I can find other chains that are tasty , have it your way, that are only 5-6 bucks hit to your wallet. Unless you need malt vinegar,10 choices of condiments and throw away your money. Well enjoy.
Lets meet you can pay for my burger next time.
Oh yes lets not forget the peanuts. Not sure why???? I thought the peanuts were only for honky tonks in Texas & baseball games. That is pretty much the only place I have seen them.
AHHH my order was swift and the staff outstanding.

Rojos

Rojos, Hancock Bridge Parkway, North Fort Myers,FL. A growling in my tummy and chatter.
Food. 10 bucks for a sandwich and a side. I order a reuben sandwich. I got a cheese with double bread with crumbled corn beef and a bit of sauerkraut  sandwich. Plus maybe 2 ounces of cole slaw as the side.   NO PICKLE...
The cole slaw was fresh. It was very sour and had some type of a bite to it. Lets say I only tolerated it. No prize here. Also such a small portion for 10 dollars meal.
Now the REUBEN of sorts. It tasted ok....The Texas size marble rye bread was over buttered...Oily fingers. There was NO.... NONE ....slices of corn beef. It was crumbled up to make a corn beef hash. If I wanted hash that is what I would have ask for. They touted that this was the best reuben around.
WHAT PLANET ARE THEY FROM????
Melted cheese, slavering of 1000 island dressing with a smidgen of sauerkraut.
I had been here before. It was good but NOT now..
PASS ON BY til they make a REAL New Your style sandwich.
At ten dollars I feel ripped off.

Three Fisherman

The food. $14.99 a.y.c.e. fish & shrimp plus hushpuppies and 2 sides. ( Monday -- Wednesday only summer time)  A dollar more from last year.
I like this place. It has good service and views on the river. It is all you can chow down. Me 5 serving more than enough for my tummy..... Fish & shrimp fresh hot tasty.Blacken, grilled or fried.  Sweet tea- house made delish, the cole slaw crunchy, fresh and not too much mayo.
BUT...BBBoooooo. Green beans...I know canned green bean... salty and uniformed cut from the Green Giant...BBBOOOOOO!
Shame on you to cut corners and lower your otherwise reputation.
This 1 minor discretion will not stop me from going here BUT lowers my rating by one star.
You must decide on being a great eatery or known as a cheap place.
Ahh once again service was good by  staff and My server Mason. Thumbs up.
