Cafeteria El Chocolate, twist on cubano

Cafeteria El Chocolate, SE 47th Terrance, Cape Coral, FL.,Growlings of a tummy and chatter.
CHATTER... This place will soon begin selling chocolate items. As of now its general cuban stuff.
Food... I adventure out and tried the cuban ham and cheese sammie.(cubano)
I found this sandwich had a different zing to it. It has the regular ingredients BUT... they add a slice of serrano ham. If you are a gourmet cook or true foodie you will know of what I speak.( If not go to your library or cook book and find out. )Anyway this bit of a twist, I thought, gave the common sandwich a subtle but needed tang for my taste buds . Ahhh not too shabby over all.
I was also told of a cuban pizza to be on the menu list.
Anyway folks are nice ....service quick

Heavenly Hoagies R good

Heavenly Hoagies, SE 47 Terrance, Cape Coral, FL., Growling for the tummy and some chatter. If you like thick hoagies sandwiches, This is the place. The Italian hoagie  8 inches long, is 2 inches thick with meat and any or all whatever you wish. Eat in house or take it on the run.
Great sandwich good folks.

Paradise Deli & Grill

Paradise Deli & Grill, Surfside Ave, Cape Coral, FL., Growling in the tummy and chatter. I was yearning for some meatloaf. Never had anyone else meat loaf but mine. So that's what I got plus 2 sides. I thought I was getting mash potato and a veggie. I was wrong. I got a very innovative potato dish that was fried with LOTS of garlic. Very outstanding. The other side was carrots, broccoli and squash. The carrots and broccoli was only cooked half way. Crunchy. Healthy for you. Even though I expected cooked through and I hate broccoli (except in chinese fare). This was very good.. Now the meat loaf. eehhh it tasted ok but not as moist as my own. Not enough onions garlic or italian seasoning. Plus I do not heat it up on a grill. But you win you lose.
Service was great. I will be back again.

Asia Buffet is okay.

Asia Buffet, Del Prado Ave., Cape Coral, FL., Growling of my tummy and some chatter. The food. As with all buffet you either like some stuff or you do not. I was surprised as to the large amount of choices. Some good some not. The had a hibachi, there was sushi and a a dessert section. The idea is to make a minimum of 3 trips and sample what looks good to you. I tried the fried chicken, it was fair better than most buffet. I saw beef stew but passed on it.
So if uncertain on what you wish for give them a try.  Or you can order standard thing off the menu.

Mangia Beno Ristorante Italiano, good family place

Mangia Bene Ristorante Italiano, Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral, FL., Growling in my tummy and some chatter. This is a wonderful italian oasis in a mall. Pic and decor along with songs..Ah the food. I ask for 2 items. Linguine with garlic and fresh clams. But first was a great surprise, 2 hot fresh rolls
loaded with garlic. So gooood. Now my pasta.
The pasta was cooked properly al dente. Lots of clams and garlic. I must say a few of the garlic was a bit on the burnt side. But still satisfactory. It filled me up with some for a second meal.
Being frugal I had a coupon for a pizza. I got my regular, pepperoni & mushroom. I love the sauce plenty of ,but it was a bit oily. Crust nice and thin. The mushroom were sliced too thin.. They disintegrated upon cooking to just black spots. I was unable to taste them. It pass the cold pizza taste: good cold.
Jay was an outstanding server. Always on the spot to fill my lemonade.

Bob Evans, pretty good stuff

Bob Evans, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral., FL,  Growling of a tummy and some chatter. Lets talk food. I must say I really enjoyed both entree. First Country fried steaks, mash taters, gravy , green beans and biscuits. The fried steak was good it was fried just right, Green beans cooked tender with bacon and bit of onions. Gravy was ok but it could have used a bit more black pepper.. Biscuits, hot flaky served with real butter and honey. Very filling.

My take home for later. Pot Roast, mash taters gravy, carrots loads of onions..
The beef is so tender you only need a fork. Carrots plenty of and great. Loved the mash taters and gravy with onions BUT
I would prefer if the taters were served on the side. Instead of everything right on top. I guess my quirkiness.Oh yes the dinner roll were some of the best I have ever had. Period
Ahhh Josephine, I believe,my server outstanding job. She could not do enough for me.
Chatter. I had to wait for a table,10 minutes or so. Most times I never do. But it was quick folks were cheery, cashing out ,a burp but a okay.
I will definitely be back again.
