El Taqueria Azteza, Del Prado, S., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.
Chit Chat first. WOW I must say this is one of the best mex-tex joints in The Cape. And they do not advertise. It by word of mouth.
I had a steak platter and a torta for latter.
1st the hot sauce... creamy and hot but not so hot for you wimpy ones. Rice and beans great flavor and stand alone. Guacamole so good and chunky.
Torta.... I was surprised as to how big this sandwich was. My and so tasty.
Then all the entrees are a good size portion.
So if you need some down home good old fashion mexican food come here.
I do need to warn you...Service can be iffy... But good stuff comes to those who wait.

Ocean Breezz, let it blow by
Ocean Breezz, SW 16th Pl., Cape Coral., Fl. Here is some chit chat and 2 cents on the food.
Ok first it is a BAR with a grill attached.. Good news ...no smoking...It is off a main drag so its not in a easy location to find. It is not what they call a destination location.
Now the food... I ordered sweet tea. It was anything but sweet... The worst tea I have had since being in the Cape.
They make their own cole slaw. I am sorry it was mediocre at best KFC slaw is better
I had a rueben sandwich. I must say it was pretty good. The meat seemed aplenty...Cheese very melted. Sauerkraut good. Rye bread thick nicely toasted.
The one and only server/bartender was very nice..
All the seats were high almost like barstools uncomfortable for family and physically challenge folks.
I think this my first ...I cannot recommend this place for the reasons above...Sorry

Ruby Tuesday, a better than average chain
Ruby Tuesday, Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my two cents on the food and chit chat.
First the food. Oh my the hot cheesy biscuits...
be careful you will be tempted to fill up on these. I splurged this time and got the prime hamburger.
This was cooked to perfect order as always for me. A good presentation... hot fries.. It was tasty...,had good flavor BUT I prefer the regular burger. The regular burger has more fat which equals MORE FLAVOR... The salad bar fresh lots of choices. For those vegans a nice place to graze aloong with the cattle.
The service was great...Every time I have gone I have not been disappointed.
Personnel has always been top par.

Jason Deli, good salad bar
Jason Deli, Santa Barbara Blvd. Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat
This is a all you can eat salad bar. 8 bucks.
Always fresh ingredients. Being refilled most of the time.
Easier to come here than make at home.
Plus they have a stand alone computer screen which only takes credit cards if you are just buying the salad bar and drink.
Jason Deli is not a true deli. Its a sandwich with salad bar eatery. The sandwiches are very good but not for the frugal types.
Food is of good quality made to order and tasty. Personnel has always been nice and professional.
Plus if you are in a rush you can order your stuff at the online website.
Though this is a chain this location has in my opinion been very good in flavor and freshness so come on down.

TK BBQ, finally decent beef brisket
TK BBQ, Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral, Fl, Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.
AHHH finally someone who knows how to make a decent beef brisket.
I order the beef brisket sandwich with sweet chile slaw as a side.
This is the first time I found a really moist, tender and just the right amount of smoke on the meat.
This brisket sandwich is the most outstanding one I have found in 5 years being in SWFL. They gave a southern style sauce that was a bit sweet. I found out they have 4 varieties of different sauces.
This is not your usual bbq joint. They have fried brussels sprouts. ( Note: I hate them sprouts in general, you may like it.) The have sweet potato fries. There is a italian chicken and dumpling entree.
In side the joint was very nice and upscale. Servers were very sweet and professional.
So Come on down and give them a try. They will have something for your taste buds

Rodizio Grill, A brasilian carnivore delight
Rodizio Grill, Plaza Del Lago Dr., Estero, Fl., Here is my 2 cents and a bit of chit chat.
The sides and meats were as good as I found in Rio De Janeiro , Brasil.( I spent 6-8 years on and off in Brasil.)
This is truly a replica of Brasilian BBQ eatery.
Lets start with the caipirinha, Brasil national drink.
Made with sugar, limes and cachaca. Outstanding.
The coffee strong and black. MMM good.
They have a buffet style bars where you may sample the different side dishes and or salad.
There is servers that bring hot meats to your table. They slice as little or as much as you desire.
In this case they have a green and red item telling the server if you need more or if you need to stop.
I suggest that you sample a weee bit of it all. When you find a favorite then fill up on it.
A note they do salt the beef a little on the high side. So be aware ..... this is common.
As of this writing the Rodizio has only been open for a few days. I did get a few hiccups from the new staff.
But overall this was a great dining experience. Thumbs up!

Famous Corner, Good Puerto Rico Food
Famous Corner, Del Prado Blvd, N., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.
This is the 2nd time I have had puerto rican food. It is good. This is like something a mother would make. I had fried pork, beans & rice and yucca.
The yucca I am not a big fan . It tasted fine. But something you grow up with. It is hard to describe the beans but I really like them. They have their version of empanadas, good stuff.
For the quality and quantity it was a good meal.
Be warned this is a food truck and they are in a parking lot. Open 12pm-8pm, Tuesday - Saturday. Only one table under a tent.
They may not open on time. Plus when the food is gone its gone. So do not get there late and expect a meal. Spanish help... The folks are very nice and food is good.
