First food. See my pic. $11.00 for this meal.

11 bucks???

The fish though fried properly was bad. It was not fresh. The best way to describe it was kinda stringy. The portion size was way too small. The chips were just frozen steak fries. Cole slaw was ok. The best part was the irish soda bread. I never had it before and tasted pretty good. Overall for 11 bucks this is not worth my time, money or going here. I can think of 5 eateries in The Cape/Ft. Myers area that outshines this place.

The service was ok.

People that think this is good just once again proves my point. Floridians have unsophisticated taste bud. They just do not know good food.

In my humble opinion look some where else.

Rodino's Pizzeria, Good pie

Rodino's Pizzeria, Santa Barbara, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat..
Well everyone has a different view on pizza. I like this place. Its a thin crust with a tangy sauce. The prices are ok and they deliver. Plus the cheese cake and sub sandwiches are worth the while.
Delivery has always been in the time frame.
So give them a try and see if the do your taste buds a good jobs.

Mcdonalds, Still sucks

Mcdonald's, Cape Coral Pkwy, Cape Coral, Fl, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.
This is typical Mcdees. Service was quick folks were nice.
Now the food. I got a Artisian Grill chicken Sandwich. 4.79...I watched how they made it. Ingredients were fresh looked good.
Who the hell thought this up and what  idiots buy it on a weekly or daily basis?
This is a tasteless piece of rubbery chicken breast. NO FLAVOR . Texture just awful. This is my first and last time for this nasty item.
On plus side my shake was good.
Oh yes. I used my debit card. As soon as I finished swiping ...my money was gone and it was approved. It was faster than me blinking my eyes.
Too bad the food could not be better.

Florida Kitchen, ok for a mall joint

Florida Kitchen, Corkscrew Rd., Estero, FL., Here is my 2 cents and some chit chat. I had a catfish filet, veggies and cole slaw. 16 bucks...

I really enjoyed the fried catfish. Fried to golden brown. The sauce on top was excellent. My issue is only one filet. The medley of steamed veggies ,carrot, green beans, squash, peppers and such were great. My house made cole slaw hit the spot. I wished my main item was as large as the sides. Then I could see eating here more often. Moneywise too pricey.
This is located inside a shopping mall. So I guess prices are higher here. My 2nd time in a mall in last 5 years.
The servers were great , place very clean.
NOTE : To my readers. Please be advised that when I scope out a restaurant I do so with the following criteria. I focus on the food. Taste, Quality, Quantity and Monetary value. Unless noted I always go during a lunch time period. I am a frugal person.

Tacos El Tequila, ug pass on by

Tacos El Tequila, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL, Here is chit chat and my 2 cents on the food.
I will start with all the good stuff. Server was great even though she was dealing with 7 tables by herself. My order came within 5 minutes. Salsa and chips were warm and spicy as it should be done.
Refried beans, rice and flour tortilla were good.
Now the bad.

Sweet tea was terrible not sweet no flavor. My go to dish chili rellenos was just sub par. It was ground beef but the flavor of good was just not there. I have had better at chain eateries.
The burrito, carnitas, fried pork. Pork was over cooked. There was lots of meat and plenty of rice but it was not up to the standard of a true burrito. The burrito was created in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA. in the late 40's & 50's. I lived there for 30 odd years I KNOW a good burrito.
I ask for two jalapeno inside my order. I got 2 roasted on the outside.
So this made be good for a floridian taste buds BUT it is wrong.

Chen China Bistro, one of the better joints

Chen China Bistro, SW Pine Island, Cape Coral, FL., Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat..
I found myself here today unexpectedly. I had what I think was Sing Mai. 8 bucks.

It was slightly spicy, angel hair, tofu, egg, roast pork, and shrimp with veggies. I found it delightful. The spicy came after you had a spoonful. A good surprise.
I also got some fried wonton with hot mustard and sweet sauce..
This place has been here for a while. It is one of the better chinese joints around.
Reasonable prices pretty good chow(alas not as good as San Francisco,CA)
They also have a deal where you buy 10 meals you get 1 free. Ask for the card.
My server was attentive and good.

KFC, Nashville chicken no big deal

KFC, Hancock Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral, FL, Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.
I was in the area and curious of the Nashville chicken. So I got an order 6 bucks

Well no big deal. Chicken was barely spicy and had a dill pickle on top. Why the sour pickles is

beyond me. Never had an original nashville chicken. I love spicy. This was not too much. Sides of cole slaw and biscuits were great.

Folks here were nice and quick.
They had a very eye appealing buffet. Next time I am out and about I will try it.
