KFC, Nashville chicken no big deal

KFC, Hancock Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral, FL, Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.
I was in the area and curious of the Nashville chicken. So I got an order 6 bucks

Well no big deal. Chicken was barely spicy and had a dill pickle on top. Why the sour pickles is

beyond me. Never had an original nashville chicken. I love spicy. This was not too much. Sides of cole slaw and biscuits were great.

Folks here were nice and quick.
They had a very eye appealing buffet. Next time I am out and about I will try it.

Starbucks, just a starbucks

StarBucks, Chester Ave, Cape Coral, Fl, Here is my 2 cents and some chit chat. It was deja vu. It was like 12 years ago in San Jose, CA. 1 exception: drive thru for lazy folks. The same same designed same everything. Over priced bad value food food.
My 24oz, espresso frappuccino, more ice/water, milk some coffee. $5.69 Glad I was given a gift card.
Folks nice service quick..

Burger King, now with hotdogs

Burger King, Del Prado, Cape Coral, Fl, Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.
I went here to try the new  menu items of hot dogs. 1 regular dog 1 chili dog. About 5 bucks. Chili dog pretty good not so salty as other places. Hot dog just a hot dog.

I would like to know what idiots in the corporate structure decided to have ketchup as a regular thing on a hotdog. Only 5 year children, mental defectives, un americans and republicans add a ketchup to the classic Hotdogs.

Anyway service was quick folks nice. What you expect at a fast food joint.

Lee Roy Selmons, Not real bbq brisket

Lee Roy Selmon's, Daniels Parkway, Ft. Myers, Here is my 2 cents on the food and a bit of chit.
Well this is strickly on my take out meal. Beef Brisket, corn casserole and baked beans.

The good stuff was the corn casserole.. Full corn flavor and on the sweet side . MMM good.
Baked beans. Had beans ,sausage, onion and green pepper. It suck for me. It was trying to be spicy but failed. It was sour. Texture was fine. But who ever thought this was a good recipe was drinking too much corn mash. (Maybe if they had added corn mash it would be a better deal)
Beef Brisket, tender tasted like brisket. It Was NOT BBQ. No smoke flavor at all. It was cooked in the oven with it own unflavor juices. The 2 different bbq sauces I was given, are fine for someone in florida. BUT for a real MAN from Texas or anywhere else just wimpy. No bold flavor and definitely not spicy. A bit sweet but it was so unappealing taste wise.   :-(
Besides, great bbq brisket just like great pizza will taste great the next day cold. This did not qualify.
The staff was outstanding, kept me company while I chewed their ear and I waited for my soon to be forgotten meal.

Fuddruckers, 21st Century hamburger joint

Fuddruckers, Daniel Parkway, Fort Myers,Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.
This is a state of the art hamburger joint. I had the 1/3 lb. burger, medium rare, onion rings and drink.
First the drink situation. The drinks are all sponsored by Coke. You take your cup to the machine fill with ice.. Now the confusion  begins. You tap on a screen with about 30-40 choices of drinks and then you can make combinations of WHAT??? 200 or so. You figure the math.

My burger was cooked to order. Onion rings hand dipped. Good but I think the onions should be a bit more stronger. These were very mild. but tasty crunchy.

Chit Chat.
You are given a beeper that tells you when to pick up your order. Burger is plain. You go to the condiment bar and dress it as you like it.
They have a large choice of burgers: bison, elk, kobe whatever.
This is not a frugal place. It can be pricy. I signed up with their club and got my above mention meal for about 7 Bucks via a coupon.
Very nice lots of TV's, kept very clean.
You should experience at least 1 time.

Jus Jerk Grill, just like in Jamaica

Well instead of buying tickets to Jamaica and need a Red Stripe beer with jerk bbq ....here you go.
Jus Jerk is the place.
The jerk was great, peas and rice just like mommy made and curry gravy.

Never been to Jamaica... This is what you find on all the corner streets. You are missing Over Proof rum and the sexxy women from there.
Ahh and the different meat patties are here also. So good.
So when you have the need for a new culinary delight, this is the place to go.
NOTE; They have a truly hot sauce that will kill you wimpy floridians. Only the bravest should try this item IF YOU DARE..
Seek them out. Good service and reasonable prices are waiting for you.

Lulu Garden, bad food overpriced

Lulu Garden, Skyline Blvd, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat..
It has been a while since my last visit. The food is mediocre at best. I ask for kung pao chicken and to make my eyeballs sweat. WRONG. It barely got my attention. Oh yes they were really cheap on the peanuts.  I also got beef chow fun. Lots of noodles, barely any beef or onions.
Value wise this place really sucks. They only do take out and a limited delivery. See Pics.

I paid $22.00 for these items. These are the LARGE dinner items.
Why people go here is beyond me!!! OH YES I am in SWFL and they do not know good food.
