This is my 2nd visit to 3 Pepper. 1045 AM on a Monday. The server was quick and ask me what I wished for. For 1 price you can get whatever you desire.
The bad was 2 things no refried beans & a red salsa that was plain NASTY it tasted like a chunky ketchup... way too sweet.
In my first review I said .......I am from San Francisco , home and creator of the burrito. The price 6.50 or so. I was here 3PM on Tuesday.
The flour tortilla is fresh made to order. No refried beans but pinto & black beans.
I
had carnitas, pork, filled it up. You tell them what you want and they
try to fill the tortilla.Chicken, ground beef ,steak,Hot peppers, cheese,
rice, onions, guacamole a good numbers of items. Plus corn chips to
go.
For a Florida place pretty good a big step above Taco Bell.
A bit of growing pains but good over all.

El Gaucho... A OKAY Steak house
Well I was in a carnivore mood. I needed MEAT. Beef to be exact. I had been eyeing El Gaucho Inca Restaurant for the pass years or so. So ....I made the 10 mile trip and gave it a try.
As most eateries in SWFL it was in a small mall. I got there at lunch time but I needed a bigger meal not lunch time fare.
I perused the menu. Most lunch time items were under 10 bucks with no substitutions allowed. My waiter was very pleasant and helpful.
El Gaucho offers Peru & Argentina items.
I ordered the 12 oz rib eye ,
$21.00 , medium rare of course( any thing cooked more you are a barbarian) with the chimichurri on the side. Chimichurri is a olive oil base condiment of Argentina, sorta of Italian salad dressing, for you non international awareness folks. It was good but I prefer my american style beef just salt and pepper. The steak was a bit sliced thin but the cook did a wonderful job of preparing it to medium rare. The side veggie were a mix of mushrooms, peppers, green onion, & onions .
I could have had more veggies less onions.
I was also given some toasted bread with a spicy sauce from Peru. I really liked this.
Over all good food -good experience. BUT if you need REAL American steak. I suggest Connor's in Fort Myers or Bern's In Tampa..
Have fork will travel. rholland63.yelp.com rholland63.blogger.com.

Siam Hut MMMM MMMMN Good!!!
I was in the mood for Thai food. This place had been recommended by my hair dresser. Plus it had gotten lots of good remarks in Yelp, TripAdvisor , and Urbanspoon. In this situation they were sooo right. I would give this eatery 5 and half stars. 5 for food and the half for great service..
I was a bit hungry so I started with a Thai tea and a appetizer of GIEW ZA.( pan fried dumpling stuffed with ground pork, ginger & scallion with a warm soya sauce.) GOOD.
The folks were very patient and helpful with me . Through out my meal they made sure I had all I needed or wanted.
I ordered LOMIEN,( stir fried fried egg noodles with bamboo shoots, snow peas, mushroom, and
bean sprouts) I requested it spicy and they offered and brought hot sauce paste so I may regulated me heat. The dish was outstanding. The salad was tangy with a ginger sauce and soup though a bit mild was delish.
While there I heard a few calls for reservations and such. So this is a popular and good place to get the feed bag on. When need for Thai food check this place out.

Rojo's a neighborhood breakfast & lunch eatery
So I ventured to N. Ft. Myers. I had seen ads for this place for a while. It was easy to find in the mall. A big sign..BUT.. the entrance is actually to the right of the red sign.. I came to find out I was not the first to make this mistake.
Anyway the folks are really nice and there seems to be a good following. Mostly for breakfast. They serve only breakfast and lunch. All the breakfast entree did look amazing. I got their so self proclaimed best in Lee County Reuben sandwich.
Along with house made cole slaw. I must say the cole slaw was really good. Not as dry as other places. The Reuben it was good but the best ....IIIII am not sure about that. But good food nice folks I will be back for the breakfast.

Randy's Fish Market & Eatery
Traveling to Naples form The Cape is a pain in the ass. All these stupid rich retirees who do not know how to share the road or drive in general. But eating at Randy's seem to make up for the trouble. 48 minute drive for nice folks and good meal with large portion of fish.
I had Randy's House Favorite Fish & Chips . 1st it is on a platter. 2nd I got to try the potato salad instead of fries. The potatoe salad was made with small red potatoes a bit of green onion & a creamy sauce. Wonderful.
A bit of cole slaw of standard fare. Along with a unhealthy large portion of a white fish...LOL... I am glad the fish gave it life for such a fine meal. Properly seasoned breaded coating cooked to a moist fluffy meat inside. They had condiments of tartar sauce, a robust cocktail sauce and malt vinegar if you pleased. I needed to get a doggie bag for the salads to take home.
All of the staff were nice and helpful. Even the ones that I was NOT going to tip.... ;-)
So for my next venture to overindulgent Naples I will definitely stop by Randy's . Good prices good food.

Possibly ???? the best Breakfast Buffet in SWFL ?????????????? GOLDEN CORRAL ????
Wow! I have visited 4 out of the 5, Breakfast Buffet in the Cape Coral/ Fort Myers Area. Thats under 10 Bucks , that I found on- The Web. Slim pickings
I am all about the FOOD. American breakfast is pretty standard stuff eggs, bacon, potatoes etc.
What I found here was an extensive variety. WAFFLES.
The ONLY place to get a waffle. Plus Fried chicken. If you have never had a southern Fried Chicken and Waffle , You never had a breakfast.
Well everything else is standard fare fresh, tasty made to order. Dessert, fresh fruit, helpful people.
I am not a chain restaurant person . But this place for a Breakfast BUFFET is the place to go for a variety of food and lots of it.

The New England Moorings Seafood & Moor , Good food Old Sckool atmospherea
Well if you need a break from everyday type eatery & wish a little oddball fun...come here.
This is the old style kitschy Florida vibe restaurant. Fun for kids, parents . One and all.
This Moorings is hidden from view off a main drag in The Cape. It was surprising to me as it was only a 10 minute ride from my house.
I was pointed and lured here by a gift certificate. Remember I am a frugal diner.. Enough chit chat we are here for the food.
As most seafood places are a bit high in prices this is no exception. BUT. They made up by dropping off samples of various things. From fish to dessert with a amaretto drink. It was WONDERFUL..

I was hungry so I got the Onion ring appetizer. Hand cut, breaded and fried so tasty.
I then went out of my comfort zone and order Scrod with a mango Salsa. I had no idea what scrod was but it was good. Fried and golden brown on outside moist & delicate on the inside. The salsa was tangy and sweet.. I do not like mango per se. This was good..
Now more chit chat.
The TV's were playing video from music shows 20+ years gone by. The table were such that when its crowded you will be sharing them with strangers. The decorations were Floridian tacky and fun of by gone days.
Over all a great experience with food and frolic.
