First Round Draft, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral.Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
Chitchat first.
This is a locally owned eatery. With tons of TV..A sport bar. Plus you can drive up in your dingy or boat.
But the real reason you come here is the food.
There is always a special or other great item to choose from. Plus if you search they have coupons for free fries or such.
My pick this day was the blacken snapper, macaronis salad, green salad plus onion rings.
My only issue as with ALL eatery in SWFL restaurants they NEVER make it spicy enough for me. (Floridian are just wimps when it comes to spice.)
AAhhh but my meal was great. Snapper cooked to perfection. Moist and with flavor.
Never a bad special here. Macaroni nice ...excellent green salad.Onion rings very crispy.
Service attentive & quick.
Every where you turn a television.

FISH TALE GRILL,MERRICK SEAFOOD
FISH TALE GRILL, MERRICK SEA FOOD, SE 47 st Terrace, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
It is Sunday brunch for $25 bucks AYCE.... The food is good service is outstanding...BUT not as good as last year. Last year you got salmon & prime rib...None of that was in sight this year.
There was smoked salmon on the dessert table...lots of sweets..bagel. regular breakfast items plus a few unusual stuff. But not worth $25 bucks..Atmosphere was finer...Servers excellent .
Parking hard due to stupid city redesigning..Longer & hard to park

Twisted Lobster
Twisted Lobster, Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
A bit of chatter. This one of the best seafood joints around. You can get a healthier ,cheaper and better meal than ever going to a fast food joint or another competitor.
I was here for a thursday so I got the special. Shrimp, lobster tale, fries, cole slaw, and a cup of clam chowder.
The chowder is always a delight...taters, bacon bits, clam bits and wonderful taste. Plus I always get a clam shell with some clam inside. Tender never chewy.
With the tail, warm melted butter & cocktail sauce for the shrimp.
A few things I am not loco about...Pineapple in the slaw and the not too spicy cocktail sauce. . ( folks are wimpy in these parts when it come to spice.)
$17.00 bucks for this special but other days you can find less inexpensive entree.
Another good thing the staff seems to stay around & they are attentive.
Definitely a place to try.
Oh yes parking is tight and they do not open til 1130 AM..

PanOlio, All American Eatery
PanOlio, All American Eatery, Cape Coral Parkway, W., Cape Coral, Florida, Here is my 2 cent on the food and chitchat..
Lets start with chitchat...It is a very nice restaurant, elegant with a large outside dining area.
All American Eatery...NOPE! It is too yuppy too edgy catering for sophisticated folks that have extra money to burn..
That being said...The food was terrific and staff was wonderful.
I had the Chef Spaghetti Bolognese. I must say it was delightfully sweet with a taste of basil..Though on a bed of angel hair pasta or very very thin spaghetti pasta.
It was served with a mountain of meaty sauce...The carnivore in me was satisfied. Though only 2 slices of toasted garlic bread...4 was needed to scoop up all the Sunday gravy.
( for the inexperience Foodie... Sunday gravy is what Italian American call spaghetti sauce on the Sunday meal)
Plus at $3.50 for soda and $14.00 for a spaghetti I do not call this an all american eatery for the middle class folks..
Note: you CANNOT get the main entrees untill after 5 PM..you must order off the lunch menu at lunch time.
But after all I have noted it is very well worth the trip for a excellent meal.

Ginger Bistro
Ginger Bistro, Cleveland Ave, Ft. Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter..
The food here is marvelous... It is so much like a eatery in Chinatown, San Francisco, Ca.
This is so much better than the one in the Cape. The Cape serves whites folks who have no clue of great Chinese cuisine happens to be...
Ginger Bistro has the windows where you can watch them get your duck, slice your pork and feel like you are in San Francisco.
The dim sum is fresh and always hot .
I order the mongolin beef ...hot and spicy the way I like my women. It lit my taste buds.
My dim sum was wonderful.
By the way they only serve Chinese cuisine not a combination of other Asian countries ...
A note ...refrain from coming here on Sunday that's when the Chinese folks pack this place.....Also it can be pricey but you can find coupons to help defray the cost...
Service has always been outstanding.. I believe this is the finest Chinese restaurant in the area.

McDonald Pine Island
McDonald, Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral,Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
First the chatter. I hate that they make you use a kiosk even when there is no line.
It is wrong and so impersonal.
The food sucks. I ask for coffee with 8 sugars yet they do not stir it up.
Though I am right there they got my order wrong and it was cold. I needed a sausage, cheese & egg biscuit... I just got the sausage.
I have yet got my food hot at any of these joints in the area.. All McDees in SWFL suck.

Outback Steakhouse
Outback Steakhouse, NE Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chitchat.
Well since I have become an ole fogey, I can not eat as much as I use too. So I go for smaller quantities and better quality now.
I order the filet Mignon, medium rare, mash potatoe with a salad.
I almost filled up with too much bread.
The salad was cold and delish. Mash taters were perfect consistory, good flavor... The steak was a perfect medium rare.
Service was outstanding. I got the same waitress from my last 2 visit. Good to see management are keeping the same personnel .
So hungry forgot to photograph the salad....
Over all a grand experience
