Stuff A Bagel, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I was nearby and wanted something different plus sweet.
So I got a raspberry danish and a reuben. About 15 bucks
The reuben with a small portion of cole slaw and a small danish tasted very good.
The problem is everything is SMALL & PRICEY.
I think because we are in a OVER PRICED TOURIST AREA they charge too much and the local yodels of floridians let them get away with it.

Jason Deli
Jason Deli, Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter..
I was swayed by a great photograph of the Club Royale.
Of course being Jason Deli it is pricey...plus the actual pic does not get what you order per se.
The price 9 bucks, with a pickle, it was fresh tasted good.
Service was courteous and fast.

Ichiyummy
IchiYummy, Del Prado Ave., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
This is my go to place for AYCE sushi or Japanese food.
You can really sit down and order whatever you want however much you want. Provided you dine in and finish it all.
The food is fresh, tasty, beautiful and service is great.
I always get the cold seaweed salad. Good for the digestion. Tempura shrimp and a teriyaki dish.
Be aware the portions look small but eat all you want.
At $14.00 at lunch a great deal.

Pinchers
Pinchers, Silver King Rd. Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chitchat.
FYI...be advised there is parking right in front of the Cape Carol location along with handicapped spaces...when full you need to walk 35 yards to a parking structure.
Now the food. I tried first off ...the bowl of gumbo $ 8 bucks....NOT WORTH IT,( see Photograph )
On my first taste it was over salty...the spiciness came back around after my first swallow. Though only spicy for a Floridian.
Then there was the hardly any wild rice...Maybe 2-3 ounces if that...Plus I counted maybe 3 pieces of a sausage and 1-2 baby shrimp... A BIG WASTE OF MONEY..!!!
My entree a grouper blacken sandwich $ 17.00... I asked for it to be spicy...NOPE not at all..
It was the sized just over a baseball...2 ounces of cole slaw..not so bad..And the only forgiving item of my meal was steak sized french fries....(See Photograph )...
The server did a great job and I could look in the mariner for the boats... But the food...NEVER MORE....too expensive no good.

Stevies Tomatoes Sports Page
Stevies Tomatoes Sports Page, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here Is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I was in the mood for something different.Stevies was promoting their Chicago style pie. So I gambled to try it. I LOST.
Folks were nice but it took longer than usual for a pizza pie. 45-60 minutes.
It was a heavy pie and the cheese slid while I carried it.
I sliced into it took a big bite....It was the worst ever....A 1 1/2 inch thick crust 1/2 inch of very plain tasting cheese. Hardly any sauce to be tasted or seen...Just plain nasty for me. I tried other areas of the pie...No luck just as bad.
I threw it to the birds in my front yard...it took 3 days to be gone.
Never more of this pie.

Redfish Point
Redfish Point Garden and Bar, Lafayette st., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I went here to try the paella... I have never had this dish any where.
So I was quickly seated...I browsed the menu...I got my drink a lemonade.
I order the dish...A little pricey because its all seafood.
It had shrimp of course, mussels, chorizo etc. on a bed of rice.
I will rave about the so fresh seafood, the mussels melted in my mouth, and shrimp so tender. It all was wonderful.
My rant because we are in unsophisticated florida where folks have mediocre and unflavored
taste buds...the chorizo was very very mild no heat at all.
But that being said the dish was outstanding...
Me being a ole fogie now ....I needed to take it some home for a 2nd meal...I tried it later at room temperature it did not stand up for traveling.
But over all this is a wonderful place to go..

McCarters BBQ
McCarters BBQ, Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd, Ft. Myers,Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
As far as bbq goes this is the best place you never heard of.
For a slab of pork ribs...$25.00 including tax. All prices include tax. There is no sides, no advertising, no drinks, no credit cards, pics are frowned upon.
Just backyard good tasting food. 3 parking spaces at the corner of Dr. MLK jr. Blvd/Cranford Ave.
TIP. Use 2000 Cranford Ave as the address...Dr. MLK Jr, Blvd is too long...The BBQ is across the street on the corner.

Flemings Prime Steakhouse.
Flemings Prime Steakhouse, Tamiami Trail, Naples, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I go here on holidays such as fathers day. Because they open early at 1000 hrs.
This is fine dining at the best...But you pay to be fawned over.
The food is excellent along with the service.
I got a Cesare salad, creamed spinach and the 36 ounce tomahawk steak , medium rare naturally.
Each portion was brought in a timely matter. Plus my drink, a lemonade was replaced when it got to half empty.
It was a hour and half restful and tasty meal. Plus plenty to take home.
So for a wonderful meal though pricey come here.
My server Seairre was beyond outstanding.

El Azteca Taqueria
El Azteca Taqueria, Del Prado Ave., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
Well the service was fine the folks were nice.....BUT this time food not so good.
I tried the Huaraches, the chile relleno and enchilada.
First the enchiladas.....I know the difference between carne and pollo...
I NEVER ORDER POLLO-chicken out at restaurants... I am a beef guy.
When I opened I got dried white chicken breast ... I hated it.
The chile relleno was over drench with a sauce, rice was ok, the beans was way too soupy.
I never had huaraches. I did not know what to expect.. Just that I was not thrilled with it.
The food this time seemed to lack flavor and was mediocre just like floridians.
It will be a while before I try this again.
