China Wok

China Wok, Del Prado Blvd. Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I was feeling poorly did not want to cook or go any where. I got a flyer for China Wok.

I lived in San Fransisco Bay Area for over 25 years. I know GOOD chinese food. THIS IS NOT.

The prices were reasonable. Portions fair.

I ordered Mongolian beef extra  hot & sweet /sour pork . The beef had NO heat what so ever. I saw 1 dried hot pepper. It was all grilled onion in a beef & gravy sauce. TERRIBLE.
The pork was fried golden brown with a commercial type so called sweet/sour sauce. BAD.

Never again.

10 Twenty Five

Well this is a first for me. I wanted to try the brunch here. The prices seemed reasonable. The items seemed very good.

The coffee was excellent and so was my server. Coffee was served in a big cup. Yeah!

But I was served with a BIG  Can of Sour  Grapes.

It appeared they do not like my past reviews. So instead of giving me a nice warm welcome.
They gave me a COLD hearten boot out the door.

Which is unfortunate but their right.

I will give 4 stars for the coffee. I did like it.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse, Dani Dr., Ft. Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food & chatter.

I came here on the 4th to get the special.
8oz. top sirloin with 2 sides( mash taters & green beans)

I must say I was blown away on how tender this steak was. The sides were outstanding ,too.
Cooked to a perfect medium rare. Just needed salt & pepper.
Overall a great meal.

The service was grand.

Hooked Island Grill

Hooked Island Grill, Matlacha, Fl.,Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.

I am always looking for a Sunday brunch buffet. Lo and behold I found this one.
The best thing about this place is in door or outdoor view of the water.

The buffet is not too shabby. They offer fresh fruit options, eggs, ham, sweet rolls etc.
Over all lots of choices.
Staff is wonderful.

So if you need a weekend meal this is the place.

Ninja Thai and Sushi Bar

Ninja Thai and Sushi Bar, Reflections Pkwy., Ft. Myers, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.

I am always adventurous in trying new stuff.

I got a pumpkin curry. It was very good. Plus I had access to 3 different hot sauce. All divine.
It was thick. It had chunks of veggies, Plus lots of flavor.
Plus I tried some sushi. Good bait food.   LOL.

Service was warm and welcoming.
A good place to be return to.

Nathans Famous

Well you must have grown up with this to appreciate this...

I had a coupon for the super dog, got some onion rings and a drink.

I am just not impress. The dog was not too flavor able. I like natural casing dogs. On the bland side. Onion rings. No flavor & just fell out of the coating.

Folks were wonderful and so nice.

Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill, Pine Island, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.

I went here for a brunch. I was feeling like a carnivore. I got the top sirloin with a asian style cole slaw with a spinach.

Well the steak was cooked to a good medium rare. Pretty tender. The cole slaw had an Asian influence which I enjoyed.  A delish fresh saute spinach.

Service was great.

Over all what I expect from a chain restaurant. I was very satisfied.

Three Fisherman Seafood

Three Fishermen Seafood, Cleveland Ave.,N., North Ft. Myers., Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
 They are doing something right. I am back for 5 years  in a roll...I believe

It is summer and time for AYCE at 3 Fisherman.  Of course they have raised the price by $1.
Now $16 bucks. Still only on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

And they still serve OUT of the CAN green beans. Blacken fish not spicy, Hush puppies are Great. Fried cat fish is delish.

If you are hungry still a good place for decent chow with a nice view.
Wonderful servers.
