This is a rave long time coming... I must say the Floridian folks are really nice.

Every time I have gone to a restaurant, grocery store, coffee shop or whatever. I am usually greeted with a salutation of some type. The voice is filled with enthusiasm.  Service is quick and efficient.  I am just surprise.
I guess because I lived in Oakland, Ca. for 20 + years. The people were rude or had an attitude problem. Even when they were given respect. I think it was because the PARENTS were bad parents. They were lazy about getting the proper education that was available.

 BUT not here in SW Florida.  The customer service is OUTSTANDING & EXCELLENT. Keep up good work.

A Rant of Floridian Drivers

Well, I must congratulate Floridians on finally being in a top 10 list of something. They were rated by 3 major national organizations . I have lived here for 2 years and I knew this was a fact. Now there is statistics to back up my observations .  FLORIDIANS are  tops in WORST DRIVERS OF THESE UNITED STATES......  Granted...Floridians did not make the top spot..( But/and the city of Cape Coral is listed as one of the safest city here in Florida.) I have seen changing lanes in a intersection,running red light/right turns. ( no roll thru plain driving thru) 10 mile above speed limit or 10 miles under speed limit. 95% of women yakking on a cell phone. 

Now why should I be able to complain of this...35 or so years of driving with never a parking ticket,no accidents cause by me. (2- I was in but not at fault) Only 1 speeding ticket . On a Sunday afternoon,101 ,Brisbane,CA,no traffic but me and a CHIPPY. Beautiful sunny day doing 75 mpg in a 65,driving a blue 1979,Datsun 280zx 5 speed windows down music loud.. MY DESERVED PUNISHMENT.... Traffic school on the INTERNET cost $55.00 DMV or insurance never knew. :-).

So people get your head out of your ass and learn to drive RIGHT.

REFLECTIONS

Its been 12 years since the cowardly act happen in New York. Today I remember like it was yesterday 4  incidents of  history for me and where I was located. .......9/11 I woke up at 1000 am pacific time after a late shift working in the projects of San Francisco. I turned on the  television and saw the plane  destroying the Towers in NY. I thought WOW what a cool TV show or movie. Then a few minutes later I heard the announcer state what happen.
The 2nd  was when I was on patrol at the now defunct Oakland Army Base. I stopped at the entry gate and the officer on duty told me of the shuttle explosion.
3rd place was the 1989 earthquake of San Francisco. I was in downtown on California St when the ground moved. I grabbed my GF at the time, Beverly ,  and took her to the middle of the street in case panes of glass were to fall onto the sidewalk.
And one of the best  memories of my lifetime is my first kiss with Bernice Hegwood. The first black woman I ever kiss and set the tone for the rest of my life. If I wasn't a Atheist I would be thanking a god right now for that moment.
There are many more moments.These are not in order of their importance. Just thoughts out loud.

Hog Heaven, Mister Bacon

   Mister Bacon, North Fort Meyers, FL.    Yeah this is the place for indulgence. BACON,BACON, & BACON.. sandwiches BURGERS AND HOTDOGS.  The cole slaw is terrific  too.. If  you need a bacon fix here you go.

BUT everyone needs a bacon fix...unless U are a freakish vegetarian .( smile in the mirror do you have teeth like a cow .....NO  teeth like a wolf and a cow!)

Anyway the food is gr8t, service quick with a smile. One draw back only outdoor seating. But you come for the food and leave with a smile on the face.

Note : I had a hotdog split with cheese in the middle and wrapped with love(bacon)

Greed and Stupidy

Well first let me tell you the GREEDY and Stupid company.

 These b**tards has the nerve to represent the Consumer Reports Magazine. They said in the letter that they are offering the LOWEST rate for 1 years, $56.00.
I have subscribe for over 4 years I have NEVER seen a rate more than $26 bucks. How idiotic can they think I am. Buying at a newsstand is cheaper .
But I am sure there are stupid enough people who do not pay attention and may pay this rate.
I must say you are Stupid..... if you pay a magazine with a credit card. Then year after year they charge you the highest rate. Hey you do not check your statement , they get your money.

Set of guidelines to follow one and all....

Been Absent

Well it has been a while since I have posted.  .....I was impress that the jury followed the law and found Mr. Zimmerman not guilty. My question is why did they keep showing a pic of a 12 year old boy????? Not the 6'1" 175 lb man.Though he was legally 17 year old He was man size. And what would YOU do if someone anyone was pounding your head on concrete.

A lighter subject. I went to Taco Bell first time in 8-9  months. Experimented with their so call item that's suppose to be a burrito. WOW it really sucks.   What is worst there are people like my Lifeguard friend ,Wesley, a 20 YO. who really thinks its good.. But I forgive him he was born and raised in the corrupted state of Florida. He has  never been outside is borders.  And Floridians DO NOT have a clue of Great cuisine even good food.  The only thing they can claim good food is key lime pie and those crab claws..  " NOTE  the crab claws along with lobster was consider poor man and criminal food 100 years or so ago....

Naple,Fl. Consider the Beverly Hills of SWFL. Where all the snobby and nose in the air live.  From my daily observation it RAINS and RAINS. Why live in that climate .......not sure.

I live in Cape Coral, Fl.  Known as the Cape... or as gods waiting room and as The Coma. I live here cause  I got 3 bed 2 bath .25 acre of land CHEAP.  It has one of the LOWEST CRIME RATE in this state. And now the price is going up.  GOOD for me. Plus when ever the weather people forecast rain I have thunder and lighting all around me.  It pretty dry.  NOTE  Florida has the most lighting strikes in All the US.  Your chance of being struck is  1 in 10,000 winning the Lottery  1 in 175,000,000. So good  luck playing golf, which is a game and NEVER CAN BE A SPORT, watch out for that lighting.

Computer Club

Why I have not raved about this before is beyond me. I am being a idiot.

The Cape Coral Computer Club.  If you have a question about your IPAD or home computer you will find the answer here. EVEN and especially  if you are a first timer/novice. The first meeting or 2 is free then its only $35.00 a year. (You will pay $50.00 an hour for a techie to fix your PC.) Come here ask your question.

I had a issue with my PC, I ask was given a very concise and great answer.SO if you need answers come here.

AND once a month a techie from a local computer company....GREENWIRE..  comes to lecture.

RAVING OF SUSHI HABACHI BUFFET, Cape Coral, FL.

Needed my fix of Chinese food this is the place to go.  ( Check www.yelp.com   www.urbanspoon.com)

What really surprise me is the sushi... I am a meat and 'tater person... BUT the sushi here is always so fresh and tasty. It also innovative for the American palette. It OUTSTANDINGLY BEAUTIFUL.  They had sushi with a taste of a sweet BBQ sauce. Plus another with a hint of green onions.  Too many other to truly explore here.The sweets of coconut  macaroon. soft and so pleasant.. Scallops, which are hard to cook. were breaded and fried to a melt in your mouth. NOT at all rubbery like my failed attempts.

So if you need a sushi or Chinese fix an a budget price try them. Note( If you read the local paper of ads  U can find a coupon every so often. Go for the food and do not worry about a buck or 2.)

AVOID THIS PLACE

Well here is my rant...For over 5 years I have been barraged with the TV ads. Now I know why.
They must continually recruit new victims to the  slop pen.

I finally broke down and gave them a try.  WRONG.... This has to be the WORST FOOD ever. But I understand why they are pack. SW Floridian have no clue as to what is good food anyway.         How do you mess up mash potatoe & gravy.. They did. Horrible.. The steaks were serve well done. I can tolerate well done. BUT...... This is the first time I chewed and spit it out.. It was 11 am on a Sunday morn crowded. I did not know they served breakfast at 8am.. I heard these so called people asking for well done steaks WOW they are bad at ordering food as they are driving. The only  3 things that were good: my waitress Juanita , fried shrimp, & cocktail sauce Oh yes my Pepsi..   Aside from that the so call  food just SUCKS. AVOID IT.

Sad News again

Cape Coral,Fl. It one of the safest crime free city in the United States. Also has more canals than ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

Unfortunately it has had 10 crash deaths in only 3 months due to terrible drivers.

Rant o Global Proportion

What is the fascination with a organization that has cause wars,murder,steal, sexual abuse financial hardship and just out right lie ,ALWAYS, to everyone.???? Thats right the devil themselves the Catholic Church.. Its In the process of electing another leader for abuses.  I was unfortunately raised in this cult. Yes its a cult. ALL new organizations   with a religious theme start off as a cult status. Then with enough fools and idiots believing what the leadership berate into them . It goes so call main stream. We have a religion.

I saw the 2nd helping of The bible on the History Channel. Once again a sci-fi novel of murder,mayhem and destruction. Present day sci-fi are not so graphic and gruesome. It appears we have grown up in spite of a so call god.

Which comes to mind if a god is so powerful WHY does he need to use humans as fodder to clean up his MESS?????? And if he/she/it is real why is it afraid to show a physical form of it self????

WHY are you afraid to hear my thoughts ???? If there is a god then obviously he made me available to inspire you.
I am a confirm atheist at this point in my life. I have died and come back due to Mankind medicine . Mankind is a god. We can create life, manipulate it and take it away.

Star for a Bagel, Cape Coral

Stuff A Bagel........,.Well as good as places go this is a star for SWFL. Not the best ....I have had better BUT
I am impress. From what I saw  from the long line and empty baskets with a whirl wind of activity in the kitchen. You need to go here for the breakfast and Fresh bagels.
A buck a bagel is not bad. They are fresh and tasty. I had the garlic bagels good maybe a bit more garlic please

STUPID DRIVERS

In only 3 months there has been 33 people killed in car crashes in Lee County Florida. Now I know why my auto insurance is high.   I have a perfect driving record NO accidents, NO tickets of ANY kind in last 25 + years.

As I drive I see  lane changes in  intersections, women especially YAKKKING ON cell phones ( morons use a hand free device), running red lights on right turns,sitting and staring when lights turns from red to green.SPEEDING,   tailgating. People who drive mini van and think its a corvette with kids as cargo. I thought folks in California were bad WRONG Floridians are the utmost devils. Why.??????...... they know better yet do the wrong thing. Well a taste of Republicans thinking I guess. On Sundays I see all these so called places of worship parking lots FULL yet so many dangerous foes.

They preach and pray on sunday but come creeping  around the back porch on monday. How many so call commandants are broken by the multitude of hypocrites.
